Treyarch "confirmed" Mason's death as a lead up to BO6's release, but I swear people are just blind and take things at face value. The whole marketing campaign for this game is "the truth lies." Why would anybody believe he's dead when they're literally telling us to not believe the "truth." He's so obviously not dead. Frank is just canonically a lousy shot 😂. (Update) I'm fucking right and those who said I was coping are wrong. Just before the game came out Treyarch released a trailer that used the clip from BO2 where Mason gets shot in the leg instead of head, and then the clip showing he has no bullet hole in his head, confirming he survived. In the campaign, Mason is PRESUMED KIA by Woods and Adler, but he is not confirmed KIA by anyone. He obviously can't be confirmed KIA when he's not fucking dead, just MIA, which fits in perfectly with BO2 even bore the good ending.

Hudson, from the 1960's to EARLY 1989 was NOT a mole. He was only a mole from LATE 1989 to his death. The people Kravchenko was talking about was a small group of people he hired either after his father's death to the capture of Woods in Angola. 1:21 This is because he was confident that the CIA couldn't be breached. He was pretty confident in his government. The reason he stands up is because of your FOV, he isn't supposed to be seen after Mason gets strangled. 1:58 Because thats the ENTIRE point of the mission? They were supposed to capture him, why wouldn't he want Menendez to die here? Secondly, Raul was extremely close to the grenade, and while we know Menendez only got scarring on his face, Hudson, who was also knocked out would've seen the bag and thought he died. he also says "today never happened" because it was a blunder and SHOULDN'T be brought up, ever again. 4:00 Bro... what? 4:14 He got the entire right side of his face scarred from the grenade, which he only reached when it was at the end of the room 4:35 Because the objective was to kill Raul Menendez due to a prisoner transfer. 5:05 Yes, but only during the Panamanian Invasion. This is even confirmed by the COD Wiki which states "Some time before the operation started, Menendez managed to capture 10-year-old David Mason and used him against Hudson" under Hudson's page.

One thing I just noticed as of recent is that if you complete a play through where you resist killing Kravchenko long enough for him to mention the CIA mole as well as pick up the CIA memo in Menendez's compound you'll get extra dialogue in the motel room with Noriega where Woods and Mason put both pieces of evidence together in their convo. In addition to Woods hearing the voice of Kravchenko (unlocked by resisting shooting him in too quickly in Afghanistan) and bringing it up to Mason, Mason will respond by mentioning the CIA memo in the compound (unlocked by picking it up) before he states "there's something else going on here." An interesting note is that if you only discover one of these pieces of evidence and only unlock one of these dialogue lines, meaning either finding the CIA memo OR resisting killing Kravchenko (but not both), then Woods will be the one to say whichever line you unlock.

Ion think hudson was the mole kravchenko was talking about. He said “Moles” in plural so they were probably just a bunch of random goons. Hudson only helped menendez because he had David held captive and threatened to kill him.

One thing I always thought was very stupid was the short-sightedness displayed by Woods during the campaign. Obviously he's not some mastermind, but the guy's in the CIA. Clearly he must be intelligent. He made the same mistake that Mason made during Black Ops in Baikonur, not confirming the kill. Woods tells Mason "anything in that car is a charcoal briquette", and Mason agrees with him - then Dragovich is alive in Laos five years later. In Black Ops 2, it's the same thing - Woods thinks he kills Menendez (by the same method as Mason supposedly killing Dragovich back in BO1, explosion), and also does not identify the body, trusting Hudson's words to him on it. I don't know, I think BO2 has a great story, but that was one thing that never really sat right with me. Woods was so driven by hate and lust for blood that it seemed... I dunno, implausible that he wouldn't make sure Menendez was dead.

I don't think Hudson was the mole, the mole set him up and gave Menendez Hudson's and David's location, David is the only reason he went along with Mason's supposed killing
