Early morning STEAM at Bridgnorth and a gorgeous SUN RISE!!! 18th September 2021

6.30 am , Saturday morning at Bridgnorth! A great way to wake up !
As the locos on shed are getting steam up for another gala day, 'The Flying Pig', 43106 has just arrived, with our all night train. Having worked since 10pm last night, the Ivatt class 4MT, is taken off and heads back to the shed for a few hours rest before the next night shift.
Meanwhile 103 year old, GWR Churchwood heavy goods loco, 2857, is ready to take over where she left off last night.
As we head back to Kidderminster for breakfast, the sun is seen rising over the beautiful Severn Valley.

It’s like a different time this Phil the start of the film. Just so atmospheric. Brilliant bud. So glad you got up to shoot this!! I filmed a chemical plant today. Just my thing!!! On my way to Duxford at the same time and it was sun vs thick fog in Cambridgeshire. A very interesting view of Bridgnorth not shown too often, Phil. Looked on the webcam loads of times, but does it feel any different being 'blurred' on the bridge at plat 2? ;-)
