Early Summer Greenhouses || Lily Update, Peat-Free Mix, Repotting a Tree Fern & Pachypodium

This is a tour of my glasshouse and greenhouse in June. There are updates on many plants and projects and I share my recipe for peat-free potting mix. I also repot a pot-bound tree fern and a pachypodium. All plant names are written on the screen.

Glass house dreams! My hubby and I have been talking about getting one for my orchids one day. I'm afraid of the energy costs. We have cold winters and would need a heater. I guess in the meantime, I'll live vicariously through yours. Thanks for the tour! 💚

Well, I can tell you that the greenhouse was the best investment I ever made in the garden. Mine is not heated to the level required for most orchids but I do love it. Thanks for watching and happy growing

Hi there. My purpurata is now in bloom. It did loose a spike through breakage, which I showed on my Instagram. Poor plants is far too big for its own good. The sobralia is truly beautiful this year though. I hope I can make an update.

I think you must mean Impatiens sodenii, which is in the video just before that time stamp. Thanks for reminding me. I think it needs a repot.
