Lol, there were a few close calls. Ps, the noem noem, guabiju, black sapote (from seeds from your fruit) and CORG are starting to really thrive now. Especially the guabiju and noem noem which got flowers but no fruit yet. I bought another from daleys as a partner for pollinating

Very nice. Food forest is looking good. I'd love to fly a drone over my house, sadly, we're close to the airport and we're on a no-fly zone.
@UrbanBounty
@UrbanBounty 6 ай бұрын
Thanks. In a no fly zone can you fly low? You oy need 5 meters to drone your garden and some house buildings are taller than 10m

You've done it again Paul! You must have choreographed the whole video! Your plum trees look amazing - what varieties do you have?
@UrbanBounty
@UrbanBounty 6 ай бұрын
Thanks heaps Patrick. The first variety in the film is the Santa Rosa and the second is the Mariposa. They make great pollinating partners 👍

Perfect looking as always. I'm curious, how do the birds stay away from your peaches? Parrots wiped out almost all my plums this last week, and now they're into the first apricots. Inga looks amazing!!
@UrbanBounty
@UrbanBounty 6 ай бұрын
Thanks George. There are heaps of parrots around, especially in my neighbours gumtrees, more than usual and they have been testing the plums but I reckon they bypass my place because there is usually always someone outside because we are working different shifts, everytime I see a parrot I clap my hands loudly to keep them on their toes. I love the inga, thanks for getting it to that height! Bargain for me.

Wow, your garden is absolutely stunning, Paul! I can only dream of a garden like this and growing the fruit trees you can grow, perhaps someday 🤞. I love how you utilise every little bit of available space down the side of your house. Very inspirational!

Beautiful garden!! I was wondering how big is your lot and how many trees are you growing?
@UrbanBounty
@UrbanBounty 2 ай бұрын
Hello there, my lot is only 0.171 acre in size which includes lots of shedding and a large house. I am growing a very large amount of fruit trees and I was able to do so by planting dwarf fruiting plants in some cases but also tropical and subtropical fruiting plants in most cases. Because I'm in zone 9b, almost the same equivalent as San Francisco in the USA, my tropical and subtropical plants remain only dwarf size because they are not happy in my zone. I am in Melbourne in Australia and there are around 90 plants on the property Cheers
@LetsGrowOurOwnFood
@LetsGrowOurOwnFood 2 ай бұрын
@@UrbanBounty Thank you! I have a similar size lot and i happen to be in zone 11 . In my zone the tropical trees grow much faster and I have to prune much more to accommodate all my trees. Planting dwarf definitely helps. My dad had already planted many trees that were not dwarf though . You have a beautiful garden and agreat channel.I wish you much success!!Thanks for sharing!!
