The way the moron openly and excitedly talks about getting into "hunting". He thinks everyone can hunt for meat. What a fuking idiot. He thinks he's so "alpha" for using another, selfless and smarter than 99% of all humans invention called a gun and the scope to shoot an innocent dear from hundreds or thousands of feet away for no reason and he thinks he's a man. Males like this are insecure, stupid, cowardly losers. Most males in the world are stupid insecure losers. The most dangerous male is the American Christian who likes guns and constantly tries to prove how "manly" he is. Nothing is more dangerous than this type of male. Guaranteed to beat or r@pe his gf or wife, or kill them for not wanting to be with them anymore, or shoot an unarmed man over the smallest thing. The guy in the video is a pure moronic loser with an iq equivalent to less than that of a parsnips. Only stupid idiots are selfish and don't care about harming innocent wildlife, killing the strongest deer, hunting and shooting guns for no reason etc. Intelligent people have true confidence and know their inner power obligates them to protect and care for others and be logical. Idiots are only driven by their emotions and have no control of their emotions and can't think at all without nearly having a stroke from overheating their micro brain and micro penises

I can`t hear this we are superior anymore. In what way? Because we have mobile phones? Animals dont need mobile phones! Just because we can create something doesnt mean we are superior. On top of that because we produce all this we destroy the planet which animals dont do.
@Trikkeeroy6 жыл бұрын
We are superior because we are the only species on this planet that understands that it is in fact a planet that we live on. A spherical object that orbits around the sun. We also understand that all those little points of light in the night sky are also suns like ours, and can also potentially have planets like ours orbiting around them. No other animal has this understanding. And no other animal has the understanding that this planet is indeed finite. It will die one day, no matter how well we look after it. We are the only species that has a chance to find another planet to live on. And the only reason we have that chance is because we are "explorers". We've explored this earth, we've explored our diet and figured out what we can and can't eat, we've explored our brain capacity and our mental and physical capabilities, and we're still exploring all of these things. And now we're exploring the universe so that we can extend our existence beyond the existence of this planet .. No other animals are doing this, so their only hope of survival beyond the existence of planet earth is through us. That's why we are superior, and that's why we eat them.

Stargazer or others it matters not animal/plant the land is in peril. 1920 Dust Bowl is an example of how both farmers/ranchers did damage. It was farmers growing of plants as well as ranchers. Grasses were tilled/damaged for crops as well as animals feeding. So what is the solution(s) change up areas for crops/animals. U said it Stargazer/others "supply & demand" so people should stop living? Put a # on births one can have in a family like China did??? Families of humans suffer/children go w/out food so one can save a animal??? It isn't a Black & White issue....someone or something will come out on short end of stick. I ask this of any of you. No reason to mock him. He said he's gonna give it a go. Maybe a future vegan here. And if he does go permanently vegan, you can bet that he'll be speaking up about it and inform himself of the facts. He actually makes a good point about getting diet right. We don't want people going vegan, eating incorrectly, reacting to foods, or exacerbating gut issues and then turning back to animal products. So information on nutrition is important. Of course he overstates how risky the average switch to veganism is, and made some pretty fallacious arguements, but I feel he will genuinely think this over.

Even on a plant based diet you can likely benefit from fasting and caloric restriction. Caloric restriction has been tested on monkeys, along with various other animals and is strongly linked to longevity. It is a proposed factor in the longevity of okinawans. Fasting on a semi-regular basis gives your digestive system some rest, burns fat stores, releasing toxins from the body and promotes a process called autophagy, where your body clears out damaged cells and recycles nutrients, healing old wounds etc. The "snake diet" the guy in the debate keeps bringing up sounds pretty similar to that "vegan bodybuilder eats one meal a day" protocol, Dr Nun Amen Ra or whatever, designed to increase longevity by fasting and caloric restriction. No idea if that's legit, I haven't looked into his specific diet/lifestyle plan personally. I myself fast every so often to treat my chronic psoriasis and joint pain and it's the only thing that reduces my symptoms. My GP seems to approve of it, saying it's not unheard of for doctors to suggest things like the 5/2 diet to obese patients and diabetics. It's also beneficial for resetting unhealthy eating schedules. The main risks are dehydration and eating disorders, so if you can reduce the risk of being affected by those, then not eating for 48 hours at a time could actually be a solid plan.

Absolutely, the people who seek to engage and do so in a respectful manner should be commended. He conceded many points to Ed throughout the conversation that shows he isn't mentally rigid. He's doing the Snake Diet and engaging with fasting so he's already outside of the normal paradigm. He just needs to be exposed to more information on the science of WFPB to tip him over to our side. I wish Ed had pressed him on the health aspect. People who "know" something is missing from a vegan diet can never seem to point out what that is. People who are scared of supplements but are happy to eat animal fat loaded with PAH's, PCBs, Dioxins, and other persistent pollutants and contaminants - simply because they don't know these things even exist. If vegan activists begin pointing this out, I think it'd be quite beneficial. Sure, if you want to get everything missing from animal products, you'll need to throw down some Creatine, Carnitine, and Algal Omega 3's for preformed omega 3 fatty acids - but think of all the literal poison you don't eat in the process.

@@allgood9102 Okay but you see, you brought up a great point AND Slow Cut brought up a great point. Yes, as you said All Good, intelligence and actual knowledge, facts, and evidence ARE important, but what I think is EQUALLY as important is what Slow Cut said about respectfully communicating. Another thing that's needed is an open mind, to be willing to accept your position is wrong IF it is argued with no ability to counter the arguments. And that's why Vegans can "appear" condescending or "know-it-all" types, because we in a lot of ways have "heard it all" in the sense of how most everyone who argues Veganism uses the same handful of logical fallacies. There isn't a way to be logically consistent and eat animals while NOT thinking it's okay to also kill and eat humans, because if someone thinks "they're different' so it's okay to treat them differently, then it's THOSE people who have to specify EXACTLY what is different about animals that makes it okay to use them as we please and NOT humans. If it's intelligence, then if I can find a mentally retarted person as intelligent as a cow, they would HAVE to be okay with that person being used for food too, or they're a hypocrite. So really, almost ALL arguments against veganism are NOT logically consistent, making them hypocrites or simply having a completely terrible world view, like that it IS okay to hunt humans and animals. That's a logically consistent view, just most people would agree it's crazy, and it also is NOT moral even if you'd accept the same happening to you. Might makes right is not morality.

I was disabled for four years, and I find "differently abled" to be a trivializing/minimizing and therefore disrespectful term. Disabilities entail a lack of ability, not the mere possession of "different" abilities. If you were disabled, you'd know that to be the case.

why do you comment that every video? correct me if im wrong but i dont think you even watched it, it was uploaded 50 minutes ago and you commented about 45 minutes ago. i do agree that veganism is morally superior but many people who see you comment the same thing each time may consider you to be practising blind allegiance, something which plagues the non-vegan side of this debate
@LouisGedo6 жыл бұрын
Jos , Hi ! It's a meme, plain and simple. It's also a way for me to support the channel as the more comments and the more thumbs up per video (I always thumb up a video when I leave a meme comment), the better off for the channel. And because it is a meme, there's no reason I have to watch the video entirely. Besides, there are probably no new arguments, excuses, and rationalizations from carnists that I haven't already heard a million times before....so nothing here new to me. As for those who may get triggered by seeing this meme in lots of video comment sections and making assumptions about me, that's their deficit, not mine. I don't lose sleep over people holding triggered-based assumptions about me. If the carnist can't recognize the difference between a meme and an argument and assumes that by me posting a meme that this must mean I'm practising blind allegiance, then that is indeed a very sad situation for the carnist to go through their life being that way. Have a nice day!

Talking to non-vegans in the manner that Ed does is essential. I had a great conversation with a hunter this past week and as long as you remain open/empathetic to what they say… you can always place seeds of thought in their minds that wouldn’t otherwise have been there. Never aim to make them vegan on the spot, but give people a different way to view these issues.

I started noticing significant change in about a month and a half, some people feel it within a month. And there are loads of people who have made 360° changes to their blood values in just a couple of weeks. Imagine if for years you'd been told that you have to take nasty drugs for the rest of your life. Now call me crazy but I dont think anyone actually likes the idea of taking drugs... People take drugs because they're sick. Now imagine if you tried a diet and suddenly all the "claims" behind that diet we're true, wouldn't you try to convince others to do the same?... There are countless people who have switched to a whole foods plant based diet and significantly treated or reversed their diabetes and/or heart disease. Now if there's a diet that can get people off of their medication and get them back on their feet, living fulfilling happy lives, shouldn't that be the default diet until proven otherwise?.....
