On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.
If you prefer more up close and personal dogfights consider the IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battle series and experience intense WWII aerial combat over famous battlefields such as Stalingrad, Moscow, Rhineland and Normandy. Fight in and against Russian, American, German, British warbirds such as the P-51 Mustang, P-47 Thunderbolt, Bf-109, FW-190, Spitfire, Hurricane and rugged IL-2 Sturmovik attack plane. You can also fly legendary SPADS, Fokkers and Camels in WWI dogfights over the trenches of WWI and discover your inner Red Baron! And all of this can be experienced in jaw dropping virtual reality!

If that was an expanding rod warhead, it would be like a buzz-saw through Growling if he was in the same reference plane (X-Y-Z orientation). It is so that a relatively small explosive charge can cut through an airframe at larger proximity fuse distances, versus a standard annular charge.

Yes, this video had some awsome moments but it still doesn't beat that moment between the harrier and the a4 early, where the missiles hit each other and the a4e comes out the explosion missing the harrier by a few ft

MiG-35 has been a sales flop, the Russian federation built a few to save face and the export market turned their noses up at the jet entirely. Orders cancelled from India and other 2nd world powers, with Russia desperately trying to get Vietnam to buy a few to replace their MiG-21's... to save face on the world stage. It's basically a MiG-29 with the "Pep-Boys" treatment.

MiG-35S or MiG-35D doesn't come with TVC originally, however you can put KLIMOV TV NOZZLE even on older РД-33 and make for example MiG-29S thrust vectored aircraft...

As far as I know the East German MiG 29's used metric system (km/h), but got converted to NATO standard with knots after they have been integrated to the German Bundeswehr. I think the MiG-29G is exactly that, a converted ex-GDR MiG-29A.

Youre correct! And the G had restricted thrust aswell for lifetime extension of the engines in peace times and iam not sure ED did model this in DCS.

Round 1: Hindsight being what it is, should have turned right to avoid the nose. Here's one: I don't think the Convair F-106, a member of the Century Series, is available in DCS (yet), but there should be a dogfight against it and the Mirage 2000. Both are delta wings. The F-106 is an interceptor designed in the 50s and served into the 80s and was a component of the Semi-Automatic Ground Environment system. (SAGE) Good vid.

The -Six would be quite the fight with a Mirage, pilots fought to drive it long into the late 70's. It is the ultimate pure interceptor. Edit : Besides the A-12.

I love your videos man. My 6 yr old kid loves them too.. He was glued to the screen for the Rafale vs F22 and the Rafale vs Typhoon fights.. He now talks 1 circle and 2 circle fights and explains me strategies.. Lol.. I dont think any Indian fighters are in DCS, but when it does come I would love to see the Tejas delta wing go against the tough Mirage 2000 and see how they compare..

This is so funny that you did this video a month ago, as I am sure you heard of the Ghost of Kyiv by now in a Mig-29 who became an ace already. In every video that I have seen, he was hugging the ground and probably on EO I would suppose. You should do a video as the Mig 29 using the terrain and EO to show how capable the mig 29 is actually to an overconfident enemy.

It's (MiG-35) vapor-ware in real life. The Russian Federation built it on speculation, that 2nd and 3rd world nations would clamor for it. NONE DID. A few dozen examples sit there in Russia, to save face for the project being a dismal sales failure.

The best fights are dogfights that start off fair, and throughout the fight, damage to one of the crafts is dealt and tensions are higher, leaving the pilots to scramble for less likely maneuvers...and it's just amazing to watch a flanker fire a missile the way it did, while damaged.
