It's weird seeing a show in the neighborhood I was born and raised in, but yea...its dangerous as hell. Moved out 2 years ago after my daughter was used to the sound of shootouts in the morning and night with her either knowing the shooter or the victim, it's wild in the East. Livonia and Georgia ave. Bamaz.

I live in New York. I know EAst New York. I grew up in H.B.- Howard Beach. I grew up as a Jewish LIberal. When I liked in H,.B., sometime in the 20th Century, me and my Friends would walk over to TSS- Times Square Stores which was a Cheap Version of KMart located not too far from the Pink HOuses. East New York not the greatest Neibhborhood although I went back to that area recently and it much more built up now with nice Stores there. They might do some stories on conflict between East New York and near by Howard Beach. They might also do some stores on Gentrificaiton. I know Bed Stuy or parts of Bed Stuy as well other near by like Bushwick got very Gentrified, but I am not sure that happenned in at lest a large amount of East New York.

Okay I saw somebody mention a crossover with the CBS hit Blue Bloods and I think that would be amazing. I also think it would be cool if maybe the character of Regina Haywood was introduced in the season 13 premiere of Blue Bloods next fall or have a storyline from Blue Bloods sometime in the season focus around her that maybe involves Frank or someone else from that show like Erin, Danny, Jamie, (or someone completely different) to sort of help get East New York going and more known to viewers or such. (Just a thought)

I loved this serie. It was the best I've ever seen and I don't understand why, after one season, the serie was cancelled. Was there pressure for this to happen? It seems to me that the series was showing how problems could be resolved that many people want to prevent from being corrected.

I was a fan of the show when it was on, but having rewatched a lot of clips lately, there's a lot of things that have not aged well, like characters beating suspects and the show treating it as normal or even heroic.

I love the cast especially Smitts,. I watched the first show and liked alot. I don't see this turning into an Law and Order but hope it is around more than a season. Its hard for any new show to catch fire these days because of so much competition. Maybe it would survive longer if was streaming only.

This series was very well made.The actors were great, so I expected a season 2, much to my disappointment after it was approved they decided to nix it in favor of an additional season of S.W.A.T. which they had already cancelled.

Tbh i went into this trailer thinking it was going to be (only) another race and social injustice issue for people of color. I'm glad they went into a different direction. Focusing on the communities of people in the area's that can get along with the police and have a dialog together. I can get behind this.
