Awesome tutorial. Thanks for sharing and also making it easy to understand and follow. (I took screenshots for reference while making my own so when offline I have it handy) Great little project to keep for yourself or give as a gift. I’m just starting out teaching myself to sew various DIY tutorials and well, now my 4 siblings and maybe even others will be getting A LOT of handmade sewn by me presents this Christmas!!

I've been looking for a simple pouch to hold my rotary cutter, scissors and Frixion pens in and this was perfect!! I watched this video all the way through and then decided to try and make one tonight. It was really easy - at least for me (I'm an advanced beginner). I made my pouch in about two hours (that includes the measuring, cutting and preparing the pattern pieces). I followed along with your video, and you explained all the steps very well. I will be making more of these for gifts! Thank you for sharing your creativity!

Another fantastic tutorial. I wish I had the stash that you have. I've only been quilting for about 5 years. When I started I was about the bright, neonish, colors. I have evolved into the Bonnie and Camille, Sherri & Chelsie, floral-loving aesthetic that you love. I love your beautiful bags, I can just imagine inside your purse is the most glorious sight in the world!

Turned out adorable! I made it shorter so that it fits in your vinyl zipper pouch, which I'm making tomorrow. This little pouch is perfect for my floss bobbins, and I also previously made your mini vinyl zipper notions pouch (with a needle book) for scissors and needles. Now my cross stitch is going to be all organized! Thanks, Erica.

Great tutorial. Trying to work through how to sew the boxed corners without the raw edge showing on the inside of the bag.
@erica_arndt11 ай бұрын
You could do a 1-1/2" wide binding on that inside edge :)
@janabeckman54511 ай бұрын
It is either binding or leaving the lining open to stich up last. Or leave a place to turn by not closing the lining at the zipper on one side and spend WAY too much time turning and flipping so all the raw seams are hidden. @@erica_arndt
@janabeckman54511 ай бұрын
