The floor of the tub is now very solid and the paint from Krylon (Buscuit color) matched up perfectly. Also replaced all of the chromed shower parts and it looks like a brand new shower. Your video is saving me mega bucks. I installed an acrylic tub 2 years ago and have a hairline crack where the floor meets the wall. Of course Delta won't warranty it. I'm about to paint it but confused on what paint you recommend. Is the appliance white the best or satin enamel? Thanks!

I spent about $100 on everything needed today. Purchased a cheap hyper tough Orbital sander from Walmart as well since mine decided to quit working. Well worth the money. Drill a hole at each end of the crack and fill with spray foam.

Is it necessary to add all purpose puddy after the bondo glass for support or preference for smooth surface. My shower floor has a rough exterior.

Yes! If there is not as much flex or separation the the bondo glass (with shirt strand hairs) plus bondo will be sufficient

Nice work. But why not use an acid wash to clean the bottom of the tub? Customer didn’t want a whole refinish, that’s okay. A wash with the ‘pink stuff” would’ve color matched much better as it would’ve gotten rid of the dirty ring.

You NEVER use ACID on a fiberglass tub.
