Easy Drugstore Routine + NEW Curl Talk Whipped Cream Review

Would you try a whipped cream product? This is unlike anything I've used before.
Not Your Mother's just released new Curl Talk products, including the Hi-Moisture Whipped Cream which contains oils and moisturizing ingredients. It's a mousse formula, but does not provide hold or frizz control, and has more conditioning ingredients than a regular mousse.

I’m always amazed by how much cream product most curly influencers can use under their hold products and still get a cast and lasting hold. I have super dense hair with a strong curl pattern and what I think is about medium thickness and porosity. Looking at me, you’d think cream products would be ideal. In my 30+ years of styling my curly hair I’ve yet to find one that didn’t weigh me down or interfere with hold, even with super strong hold gels. It’s like creams just sit on my hair. The most I can do is a small amount of a light leave in like KC Knot Today or even better, the kind of light leave in spray that’s generally not marketed for my hair type. It’s strange. This combo looks great on you, Gena. I have to resist trying it and likely adding to my product graveyard when I have products that work perfectly fine already. It’s a problem! 😂

I got a hair cut and my curls seem to want to come back! It's been 14 years since I've worn my hair curly. No matter what I've used my hair goes flat as soon as it dries. It will look all nice and wavy while wet though. I use a bit of leave in conditioner than I put the Deva curl gel. I've tried diffusing, ploping and air drying. My hair always falls flat. 😭😭

This is a different product! It’s new. It’s called the “hi-moisture whipped cream” not their mousse which is the “curl activating mousse” which has hold
