My family love the taquito Ed. I found that even if you put the filling toward the edge when you heat them up it melts toward the edges so it spills out. Making these today again. Ran out of tortillas so the boys are running to the store to get more. Love having these on hand.

I used to make pizza cups 20 years ago for my kids and I used the regular canned biscuits that I flattened out slightly for each one and put them in a regular muffin tin. Don't use the "grand" or large biscuits.

My kids like pizza anything, so that's why I have so many pizza type recipes. Plus there are so many options for things you can add to pizza inspired recipes so there's still a lot of variety.

Might help if you use smaller shells. And warm the shells making it easier to fold them.

About Filling the ENDs of the Taquitos. Put some of the mixture in a ziplock or sandwich bag, snip the corner off and squirt in as needed. I would this after doing most of the rolling, and fill the ends with the 'leftover' cream cheese mixture!

You need to warm your tortillas before you attempt to roll your taquitos. You can warm them individually in a skillet until just warm, or you can wrap the package of tortillas in aluminum foil and bake them for a few minutes until they’re warm. This will allow you to roll the taquitos much easier and will help them hold together better.

You could always use cubed meat in place of the shredded meat!
