In maximal strength sports (for example power lifting), grip strength is actually very important because the tighter you can grip the bar, the more it prompts the central nervous system to express its full capacity, allowing you to lift heavier.

Since Covid lockdown I have 3 things on the KZbins to check on the daily: 1. Devon’s training vids 2. Which one of his unique Tshirts he’s wearing 3. What level of beard growth he’s at 😂 Furthermore... I can’t believe Devon is utilizing a handle with a normal person grip!😳 usually it’s a grip the circumference of a 2L pop bottle! Great vid Devon as always... keep up the good work!🤘🏻 A fan from Vancouver

Love the tips. I am still building my home gym. So I use odd stuff I find lying around and get creative, until I can get the proper equipment. To train my forearms and grip I have taken a solid dense rubber ball about an inch in diameter and drilled a hole through. I then have put a bolt in that is slightly larger than the hole. Once the nut has bitten I hold the nut head in a wrench, and I use my hand to bore that sucker home by twisting the ball. My hands end up black, but it feels great. Once it gets too loose and one way I'll flip it and bore it the other way, slowly make a bigger hole and replace it when needed.
