They make some good stuff! A very long time ago my Cub Scout troop took a tour of the mill. I don’t think they do that anymore.

They look yummy!😋💕 I also blend in the shortening with the butter cutter tool bc of arthritis. It's just easier for me. I've also made them with heavy cream instead of shortening or butter, which is even easier!

You can use the some leftover cultured buttermilk as a starter for making more buttermilk. I do it all the time. I make my biscuits similar with no measuring but I use butter instead of shortening. Great video, thanks for sharing. First time watching.

You could make fried pies with tge left over dough or make a smaller pan of biscuits with the rest.😊
