Yea, you should rinse with regular tap and soak in spring or distilled. Should let soak outside the refrigerator and you can boil the seamoss for 20 them blend with same water from boil. The heat doesn't dissipate minerals and boiling gives natural taste. Been drinking Irish moss since 80s. My pops always made it for me.

I use my CMOS in my tea I make a two quart picture of green tea and I add about a cup of sea moss and I drink it like that I add it to my smoothie instead of using water and it's great sometimes I put a little raw honey in it also try it

Ur suppose to let it sit out for 24 hr don’t put it n the refrigerator until after u make it. Next time just add 2 cups of water and you’ll b good.

I just made my sea moss gel yesterday and I really wish I had seen your video beforehand. I ended up making the entire bag and using all my mason jars, glass juice containers and a small tupperware to store it in my fridge. I absolutely LOVE it, but I think I may need to share it bc my freezer is too small to store it all for longer than a month.

@@Betterme4lf so far, ive only done Wildcrafted Irish Seamoss and Wildcrafted Jamaican Seamoss - both infused with lemon and ginger. But ive seen people use other citrus fruits (ive never tried this yet) like limes, oranges, soursop, dandelion, bladderwrack, elderberry. The list goes on

I actually do opposite.. I soak it in distilled/spring water first and then rinse with tap water cause the good water has already absorbed into it so rinsing with tap will be just that.. my thoughts at least..

I never thought about that. I think the biggest thing is cleaning off any extra debris before soaking it water. But, I definitely get what you are saying!

I let mine sit for 15 hours and it didn’t blend well. It was very gritty. So I let it “cook” not boil bc it takes out the nutrients for like 10min then it got jelly. I was ready to send it back.
