How to make a solid wood toolbox with a reversible lid that doubles as storage. This is a simple and easy project for woodworkers. This beautiful walnut box uses traditional box joint joinery that can easily be done on the tablesaw or router. The removable lid slides over the handle and is a great place for small parts and tool storage. The entire tool box is made with solid hardwood and will last many lifetimes. Follow along and build one for yourself with step by step instructions in the video and if you need measurements and more details I have clear and easy to understand plans on my website.

I've always enjoyed your videos. Although in the last 30 seconds or so in the end I get frustrated because the "glamour" shots are always covered by ads, or links to your next video suggestions, your logo, etc. Give the people what they want and let us enjoy looking at the finished product.

Walnut tool box. That is insane. Walnut 'downunder' is classified as exotic and difficult to source and afford. Definitely not an off the shelf at your local hardware store material. Love it though - good to see someone enjoying fine timber.

Great movie! I got a PhD in philosophy and worked as a bouncer inspired in part by this movie. FYI I really liked the editing this week. The tell, cut away show, tell, format worked really well for me. It probably wouldn’t be ideal for a “how to”, but as entertainment it was dope. ❤️

Possibly my favorite video of yours so far! The design of the box is perfect and it came out really well. It's just enough of a change on simple design to make it awesome. But the edit... from the intro to the choice of cuts... it moved quick and was a great way to get around the problem of always showing the same steps.

Would you consider using the router to make a box joint dust catcher for the front of the Jig? A basic box, with a tall enough opening and a Universal Dust Port at the bottom of the face, I think it would work fine and look pretty nice... maybe with a Make Something logo laser'd into it. The new intro is growing on me

That’s an awesome project and it looks fantastic. You came up with a great design. I’d love to make one but right now I don’t see a need for one. Perhaps as I continue organizing my shop and creating storage I’ll come up with a use. On second thought it might be a box to store my glue and supplies that I could put in a cabinet and take to where I was doing my glue up. I’ll have to think that one over.
