I decided to make your Lasagna recipe for lunch today. When I was raising my two children I’d have to use a jar of pasta sauce because that’s what they liked, and would eat. They are grown up and gone now so I can make things any way I want! This pasta sauce is to die for! I followed your recipe exactly and made, what I think to be, the best Lasagna I’ve ever made! This is a keeper! My husband, Steve, really enjoyed it. He wants the rest for dinner tonight! Now that’s a compliment! He’s fussy! Lol I hope you are keeping your spirits up, and start feeling better soon! ❤️🙏🏻 Judith 😊

That was a good an example of a Lasagne as I have ever seen. I need to make one soon. My sticking point has always been the White Sauce and I have used a packet one but this time I am going to try the one you very clearly showed. What I was surprised not to see were herbs, e.g. Oregano added to the meat part. Going to watch again to make sure I did not miss something, get some ingredients tomorrow and perform miracles. Thank you.

Hi James, No you didn't miss anything, in the video I mentioned that I did not add any herbs. However, you can of course add these to your taste, after all that's what cooing is all about, get a basic recipe then experiment. I di thank you for your comments, it's people like yourself who make it all worthwhile. Happy Easter

A very "homely" recipe.. Especially with a thirsty dog in the background lapping it's water.. Dogs and horses first! Greetings from Holland!

Your ingredients list seems to omit the lasagna pasta leaves. Another very clear and helpful recipe. Congratulations...

Yes, thank you Adrian for that. As you probably noticed I re-posted the same video with a few changes, this was because I had many problems during the filming. At the rime I was pretty new to KZbin and fond it difficult to cook and fiddle with the camera and lights all at the same time. My apologies. Nice to hear from all the same my friend. The amount of pasta sheets depends on the size of the dish you're using.

550gm or 550ml milk for rue
@MrPaulsPantry4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kaay, most liquids weigh the same as mils. example 100mls weighs 100g. The exceptions are cream and oil they are both lighter than things like water. I hope this helps.

What temperature do you cook it at?
@MrPaulsPantry4 жыл бұрын
Hello Margaret, sorry for the delay in my reply but the bakery has been very busy recently (thank goodness) I also apologise for not mentioning the cooking temp. It should be 180ºC or 160ºC for a fan oven. Thanks for watching. Visit my Website mr-pauls-pantry.com/ For more recipes. Stay safe and keep cooking .
