I love these muffins! Made them at least 3 times. I’ve made with with all strawberries and a mix of blueberries and strawberries and all the combos are fantastic. I didn’t have sour cream so I used sweetened Greek yogurt instead and it worked great!

5/2/24: Hi Natasha. I made these this morning, having split the recipe in half for me and my roommate, and OMG, they came out so wonderfully moist, fluffy and tasteful I can't stand it...LOL! Instead of using 1/2 cup of white sugar only, I used 1/4 cup of brown & 1/4 cup of white sugars and 1 full tsp of vanilla. (I don't skimp when using my vanilla extract since I make my own and it's good!) Nevertheless, I am never disappointed with what you share, so thanks once again for another fabulous recipe. This was yummy and my roommate loved it too! 😋

I just made these. I followed the recipe pretty much to your specs. I just changed some of the procedure. I added the lemon juice, and zest when I added the sour cream and oil. Then I sifted the dry ingredients on top of the wet and folded it in gently along with the blueberries at the same time. I used 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1 teaspoon of baking soda because of the sour cream. One step that created the most delicate moist texture, is beating the egg and sugar for 5 minutes. I also added 2 1/2 ounces of cream cheese to the lemon glaze. I think these are the best muffins I’ve ever made. I ate 2. somebody stop me. 😮

These are awesome!!!! Just made them and your right they are not overly sweet. I am not a dessert person and was making these for friends and family, I ended up eater 4 within an hour. Moist!!!! Superb recipe. I subscribe. I used sunflower oil. Sour cream and cake flour are not available in my country so i home made them though ur recipe didnt call for cake flour. I got light, fluffy & moist muffins. I divided my batter into 3. I added blueberries, chocolate chips & orange zest to obtain 3 varieties 😋 thank u loads..

I made these with frozen mixed berries and I only had 1/3 cup of sour cream so I added 2/3 cup of honey Greek yogurt(I didn't have plain) and they are delicious. I was going to share but they are so good!

I made these with melted extra virgin coconut oil (didn’t taste it at all in the muffins), Used an extra 1/2 cup of berries , and a extra 1/2 tbs of lemon juice in icing. They came out great with the changes. Less dense than commercial and less sweet, which I prefer. Thanks!

We got 2 packs of blueberries as substitute for strawberries in our online grocery shopping. None of us in the family likes blueberries. Natasha’s kitchen came to the rescue like always, I found this recipe. The muffins were so delicious!!! I had no sour cream so I used the yoghurt from 2 fruit corner pots instead and it worked out perfectly😀

First time making muffins of any kind and after looking through some recipes I landed on this one, I'm eating a hot one fresh out of the oven and these are really, really good. We had a pint of blueberries that sat in the fridge for a few days and I just wanted to use them up so I dumped in the entire pint, 2 cups, they might be a little over-berried but I'm not complaining, Yum.
