Avocado oil is expensive, and their plantations are extremely damaging to the environment, but you do you. If you can afford it, go ahead. But do note that if you're only using Avocado oil because of some pseudoscience that it's healthier, it comes with a cost.

the flavour of most good olive oil is too strong, that's why you don't often use it for Mayonnaise. Rapeseed oil is usually my go-to.

It wasn't working for me. Never started to solidify. But I then mixed what I had with a partial mix from @JessicaGavin recipe, and it then turned into gold. I mean it worked for me at that point. Fyi, I used olive oil in the @JessicaGavin recipe. Thank both of you, and everyone else that takes the time to post these things. it really does help out the rest of us %99.9 of people that don't.

Yes, but then probably double the other ingredients too, or just add egg yolk from the second egg. If you're doing it bcs you have small eggs, then you can use two

It's very important that you start the blender at the bottom and you dont move it until mayo start forming. Only then start moving it up slowly. Another thing is the jar should be narrow like on the video. What type of jar have you used?

I did mine with a BOILED egg, added oil, in my case I prefer olive oil, but I did just a enough oil to cover the egg not 1 cup oil, mixed with a high powdered blender ( I used my ninja travel size smoothie blender) blended 30 secs, add small amounts of water if too think, blend, add more small water if still too think, blend again. Delish!

yes, he did it wrong kinda. you want to use a powerful real food processor, and put eggs in a mustard, then slowly put in oil over 2 min while blade turning. his away won't give you the thick mayo you desire.

Very important in this method is not to move blender in the first stage. Just keep it at the bottom for at least 15 seconds until you see white blobs of mayo floating to the top, then you slowly move your blender up. Hope that helps👍 Oh and don't throw away your watery one, you can slowly add it to the good one while still blending. It will turn it into mayo as well. Let me know if you got more questions

No the vinegar kills bacteria but if you are still scared you can boil the egg for ten seconds but don’t omit the vinegar
