Yes!! THANKYOU for this! My 9 yr old girls want to learn to crochet and knit with me and this is something they can learn to do and make a successful project instead of an odd shaped patch of crochet. It's perfect for learning the basics without the pressure of turning the work around. I am so happy I found this and we can make this together and use up scraps.

I am making a mini blanket to lay newborns on durring photo sessions. Can also be used as a wrap or basket stuffer! I think it will look great in photos! Thanks for the inspiration and another awesome tutorial!!!

I made this into a cowl, wider at one end than the other. I used a fine yarn in grey with a slight sparkle. It has been worn regularly with various grey sweaters all these years. I like it because it doesn't look like a craft project when it works up. It always looks like the latest style.

This is such a great idea to either get rid of all the leftovers we all have or to make it in the color we want. @sweetirinuka1 ooo good idea ! hmm how to do it .... you could try to maybe ignore the first and last 20 chains (the fringe) and start on a sc and end on a sc, then when you have finished you can sew up the ends to make a tube ???

I think you could make life a lot easier for yourself if you just put stitch markers in each tenth stitch as you make your first chain. Then you wouldn't have to count when you do the second row.
