Hi Sonya. When I cook corn on the cob, I bring the salted water to a boil, pop the cobs in, make sure they are pretty much immersed and then boil for 5 min. Take them out and they are ready. I think 20 minutes is too long , but it is to your preference. I love your videos. They are so inviting.

another hint for the eggs is before you start boiling. if you gently tap on a hard surface the bottom rounded part of the egg until you hear a loud cracking noise (it sounds like the egg is cracking) but its just the membrane inside the egg then boil them until cooked i was dubious at first but was amazed that it works.

Everything looks delicious! We keep the eggs from cracking by piercing them on the bottom, that way the air bubble inside can expand and the egg won’t crack. There’s a tool for that or one can use a needle.

I was very surprised to hear you say that you are a picky eater. You always make such a great variety of food items that include ingredients that most picky eaters do not care for like avocado, zucchini, eggplant, spinach, etc. Everything looks absolutely delicious. I have never used oven ready lasagna noodles. I have always been afraid that they would not get tender/cook properly. I may just have to take a leap of faith and try them next time I make a lasagna. Have a blessed week and a restful Shabbat.
