STALKER did the "true ending" thing best. You have a main objective throughout the game, and you can FINISH the game by following it, but the actual ENDING of the game is a long side quest related to the overall plot. This side quest is assigned to you relatively early in the game, and it's up to you if you want to follow up on it or not and just keep doing what the main quest tells you to do.

I just gotta Say, Dark Souls since the beginning was based off community the "OH i found this" "Cool i found this" has been souls since Demons Souls. You can find stuff in dark souls if you are looking and are willing to explore even places that do not look like they can be explored that weird small ledge, that window with a bright light it can all be found.

They spoke about the online mode selection stuff guys early on. They mentioned that it was too guarantee more locality and this less lag in fights. Instead of fighting with someone on a server so far away the match is framed way down but you get your preferences, they chose smoother running (or tried to anyway).

Ultimate is the first Smash game I will ever buy, it just seems like a really good value. Im hoping I will enjoy it. Smash 4 came with my Wii U and I basically hardly touched it. Katamari Damacy REROLL is the perfect remaster. Same AMAZING game with updated resolution and tighter controls. 10/10 and not just for nostalgia's sake. Sat down to play a few hours on stream and played it all night instead and beat it.

We forget so soon that Smash only has a competitive scene IN SPITE of itself. If memory serves correctly Sakurai never wanted Smash to take off competitively to begin with. At heart he always wanted it to be a fun party game of sorts (Brawl being the stern response to Melee). In that sense, this much effort going into polish and balance already feels like a gracious effort on his part. The grounding and tools are there, it's up to the community to push the competitive scene themselves if that's what they want (just like it has always been).

Too many Red Dead spoilers for me. I think it's only this week that I decided I'm going to take my time with RDR2 because my progress is so slow and the game's just so dang good. This instead of trying to rush to finish it before christmas as I originally hoped to do. I've only just started chapter 3 and now I know that things only go downhill from here for the gang. Of course I know things won't end well. Right now however, it doesn't seem like things'll go downhill straight away, so I really didn't want to know that.

“EX Special” moves originated in the first Darkstalkers game (1994). Once the special meter is full you can do a normal special move with 2 attack buttons to power it up to the EX version. I am having so much fun with Smash. Just past the 20 hour play milestone and not long after unlocked all the characters. I enjoyed the random surprises of who would show up next, (even though I know of all the characters in the game!) The adventure mode is surprisingly deep and creative too, I love how they have taken the library of the music, characters and stages to simulate fighting all the spirits! :D Such a wonderful game.

Also I'd say the challenger fights got increasingly difficult towards the end, which I also loved. Being able to challenge them again with your best character is a nice touch.

Absolutely loving and adoring Smash Ultimate so far, pretty easy favorite game of the year for me even after playing several of the other big contenders. The amount of fun I've had doing Classic, general smash with CPUs, World of Light, and playing with friends online has been almost overwhelming. There's very little I can fault with the game itself, which feels great. During the discussion of the longevity of the game, I do worry at least in a Nintendo sense, Smash isn't as engaging as Splatoon which Ben mentioned. Smash is chock full of stuff to do, but it's built to eventually run out of things to see and experience except just playing the game. Which is totally fine, the game itself is amazing, but engagement is tougher to keep now that there's so much competition out there for our time. Splatoon on the other hand, you level up, you have a clear ranked mode, new updates, (granted those are ending soon, but they've been handled super well) the salmon run schedule, splat fests, it really engages you to keep playing. I worry Smash will only be for the fighting game community and some casual fans to keep playing as people move on. Personally speaking, I intend to go back to Splatoon in full force after I have my fill of Smash. Which may take a while, but I can't see myself sticking to Smash for the extent I did and will do for Splatoon. Rest assured the Smash cart will be in my Switch for many many hours to come though. It's going to be a great game to constantly go back to and mess around with friends online or just beating up some CPUs.

I think a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 is only gonna give so much, you have to give some back to enjoy it more. No spoilers, but personally I got really attached to some members of the gang and very little of it had to do with the game making a narrative beat happen. I dearly care about Abigail and Lenny and my horse, of course some of that is because of their part in the story missions but most of it was just my day to day interactions with them. I care more about them than Aunt May in Spider-Man, whom I only ever saw in cutscenes. I care more about them than almost any other characters in the games I’ve played recently, and I could have gotten none of that. I could have not spoken to Lenny before going to bed every night, I could have not asked how Abigail was doing every day, I could have never brushed or patted my horse and just used him as a means of transportation. I could’ve mashed X and sprinted everywhere and not soaked in the game. And I think I would have had a much worse time. I would have missed out on my favorite gaming experience since, well God of War but before GoW it was Bloodborne, meaning these games are few and far between. I’ve got one piece of advice for people not really enjoying RDR2, walk. Slowly walk to pick up the deer you just methodically hunted for no purpose other than to bring more food to the camp. You don’t get an achievement, a meter doesn’t fill up that says your gang member are happier, you don’t even get a few cents when you drop it off. Brush your horse in the morning, pat them and calm them when they’re startled, feed them a carrot for trotting you along for the whole day. Eat soup at the campfire with some of the other gang members, and ask them how they’ve been doing lately. Take your time and live in the world. It’s one of the most rewarding games i’ve played in a long while. Hell, just yesterday i finished hunting and helping out a member in town and decided Arthur was gonna have a day off, I spent 4 hours just sight seeing and exploring the map, never making my horse go faster than a canter, met some interesting strangers, hunted some rabbits to cook, and camped when night came. In the morning I returned to camp and went on with the story missions and such. If you can’t take your time with this game maybe it’s just not for you, not that taking your time is a fix to all criticisms.

I mean Sony didn't budge with EA Access and it made complete sense, seeing as they make all their money on software sales. Even MS must be regretting letting EA on now that they launched their own Game Pass. The multiplication of PC storefronts is scary. I doubt that any PC gamers WANTS his or her library to be spread over multiple different storefront. This exclusivity thing will shuffle the cards but I really don't think this is going tobring anything good for consumers. It's a single store and yet I still lost access to all of those games because they decided to not make it compatible with the PS4 while also killing the Vita (not about to buy a psp/Vita/ps3 off eBay just to play those games again). Having a single storefront does not prevent these things from happening if said company decides to do something ridiculous.

There is a room where you can fight the mystery characters again if you lose the first time. The difficulty is usually set pretty low... but I definitely understand... I've lost to Marth like 3 times now because of the stage hazards.
