Guys, I'm here to help a bit. If you always encounter a black screen where you first turn your pc on then follow these steps: 1. Ctrl + alt + del 2. Click task manager 3. Click 'File' (it's at the top) 4. Then Run new task 5. Type in services.msc 6. Click the checkbox to run it as admin 7. Then press enter or OK 8. After that find "App Readiness" on the right side. 9. Right click on it, then click properties 10. Change the Startup type to "Disabled" 11. Restart your PC and it should fix your problem

*Updates related to the black screen issue.* In method 1: It already said explorer.exe for me but retyping it and saving it solved the problem. If the solution was temporary and the problem returns, I will update you about it. -------------------------------------- Update 1: It was temporary. The black screen returned the next day. Power off and on multiple times sometimes solved it temporarily. Here's what I did. I did a Hard Boot (shift + power button) and scanned hardware. It was alright. Then I opened PC again to fix software issue. Task Manager > Run > Control Panel > Power Options > Fast Turn On set to OFF Shut down completely and start again. No fix yet. Task Manager > Run > Device Manager Disable and Enable the Display Driver. Scan for Hardware Changes and after some time it showed my desktop. Still not sure if it's fixed tho. -------------------------------------- Update 2 : The above was also temporary fix but the following worked permanently Ok so the black screen error seems to be because of display lag during startup as all other windows can still be accessed (like Task Manager, Run, Device Manager, etc) This means that hardware should be alright. As I couldn't pinpoint what could be the potential problem instead then... I had no choice but to go for an ultimate step. I did a reset BUT with keeping my files. Ctrl + Alt + Del Hold shift and Restart On the blue screen, Troubleshoot > Reset PC with keep files This will basically remove all downloaded software's in C drive and wipe all memory of softwares in D drive IF they run with help of program files. No files will be lost, even if their required software is removed. Your basic settings will be remembered. The process took about an hour for my pc... But it could take a lot longer so if you do try it, I suggest first research a little about how long it might take. After it was done, it reinstalled the OS and then asked for a sign-in. I had no password, so I just pressed Enter and it took me to my Desktop... With same wallpaper and all the files untouched. There will be a "Removed Apps" webpage which listed all the apps/softwares that were removed. The games, editing softwares and external browsers stored in C were all removed. For me, I don't care as much as most of my stuff was safe in D. But the games in D drive lost some or all of its save data. In my case, I don't really mind loosing the softwares as much as my files are more important. I recommend doing this fix only if you're hundred percent sure that you're ok with loosing all downloaded softwares (paid ones might be reinstalled IF you still have the product keys) -------------------------------------- Update 3 - It's been two weeks but I wanted to put another update because my Dell pc asked for 11 driver updates and after reading a bit through their details, turns out they were to fix the optic issue (internal wires connected to display). Apparently, the pc was having occasional issue recognising the display device which might've been the problem. (Still no clue but hey at least it works now.) My pc is Dell Inspiron 15-3567. To research, look for: *Dell Inspiron 3467 // 3567 System BIOS* *Dell SupportAssist OS Recovery Plugin for Dell Update* Or just try accessing Dell SupportAssist once you temporarily manage to get back your display and/or after doing a reset on your pc. -------------------------------------- I am no expert and the above is all based on what I saw and read to try and solve the issue with my own pc. Still I hope that it was helpful to someone in some way or the other ^^

If you press ctrl+alt+delete and not getting any options and still blank with the cursor try this Turn off your pc using the power button and then switch on it and immediately press and hold the power button for like 10-20 seconds. Repeat this for 3 times and then it will work like before. Try this method. I also had the same issue and this works for me

Are you guys expierencing the cursor with black screen? Ive came across this when i restarted my pc and left it on for some time. I came back and tried these steps but didnt work. I restarted my pc and it worked fine.
