Thanks so much for this! I picked my radishes and I didn't want to waste the tops, I added a little basil, about a cup, and added more oil. It was great on pasta!

Hi, I thank Josh Sattin for introducing us. You are living the dream. I love to cook as an enthusiastic amateur and I garden in the same way. I am totally addicted to cooking anything from my garden. I recently grew Beetroot and I think I enjoyed the tops more than the roots themselves. I love how you encourage us to think outside the box. Cheers!

I also came over from Josh's channel as I could really do with more ideas of cooking direct from my garden. As I am vegan I always have to think of ways to replace the dairy products. I never thought to use my radish tops - so this is a good start. Thanks!!

Hi..! Just found your channel... Thanks Josh. I too have been making sauces, dips and marinades with garden fresh items and thinking outside the box. An idea that came to mind in watching you here is to dry roast the nuts in an iron skillet before use. This will increase the flavor of the nuts and bring out the buttery flavor of the nuts. You’d also be able to make sure the nuts and oils were fresh and handled well. In the spirit of a “farmers belly” and the quality we strive to put in it, so to speak. I’d also offer the use of natural salts over commercial in that the natural slats have far more nutrient range and most often are reported to have “better flavor”. Plus you tend to use less, for those watching salt intake. Beautiful channel and fantastic farming example..... thank you so very much! You’re a great inspiration!

I do a lot of gardening here and wondered about using radish greens. Watched several videos and all were pretty good. But...It was that dance at the end that made me smile and subscribe. Thanks for uploading this! (sub 195)

Nicely explained, enjoyed the extra tips. Glad to see u used walnuts bc I love them too, but another channel said they were too bitter. What setting did u put the blender on? Mine has many!

Are you no longer making content? I was hoping that you would make a video going into specific detail explaining everything needed to k ow about your walk in cooler grant.
@farmbelly3 жыл бұрын
I am not making new content at the moment, but will be adding more videos this spring. The grant for the walk-in cooler was through our local county business office, so it wouldn't apply to folks who live outside our area.

lol, just as I hit send the awful music started. There is a reason why you never have background music in schools or colleges.
