I agree the emphasis on many of these comments were on the kitchen and employee treatment. If this was a clever ex employee they would have been a little more versatile on the complaints. It looked like a very good food establishment.

A lot of those negative reviews were very sus... Like one of the positive reviews said, how in the world would they know if the kitchen was dirty? Literally every food establishment I've worked in NEVER lets customers into the kitchen... sure there might be a small window in the door, but that's hardly enough to get a good view... and how would they know how they treat their employees? Unless they were berated in public... like they said, sounds lke disgruntled ex employes...

7:15 that’s exactly how I do my cheese toasty, I have the toasted bread with gooey melted cheese on the inside and crispy cheese on the outside. That’s my deluxe “I’m spoiling myself” cheese toasty. I even use 2 types of cheese (tasty and mozzarella) sometimes with bacon and a little chilli for some heat pop. I can see they did the same crispy cheese on the outside. (I thought I was the only one doing this naughty cheese on the outside indulgence)

I was nervous for a minute, glad to see that New Haven didn’t disappoint. When it comes to pizza, we succeed but other establishments can be questionable. I had no idea that they opened a restaurant down here. Looking forward to trying them out but based on their location, I’m going to wait until the Yale crowd simmers down and leaves for the summer. That’s the best time to visit any place near downtown. No shade to the Yale folks, but parking and waiting aren’t my favorite things to do. If you’re looking for a nice party brunch experience in New Haven, Jazzy’s Cabaret is also cool.

DAYM- you HAVE to review "CHARLEY'S CHEESESTEAKS" that are INSIDE WALMART. our local one in Salisbury,MD has one that opened recently so i ordered a small plain cheesesteak. what i recieved (after a 20 minute wait) for my $7.33 was a cheesesteak FLAVORED small sub roll. it was BLAND, no salt or pepper and i felt like that old lady from the 80"s WENDY'S commercials thinking "WHERE'S THE BEEF?!?!?!?" there was seriously more roll than meat. pitiful.

I think the major problem now is Daym is far too famous and recognizable especially in his home state. They probably spotted him the second he was near the restaurant and knew who he was. Of course it's entirely possible the reviews weren't genuine, or were from disgruntled ex-employees, but he really should get all of his food to go and have his intern or assistant go get the food first.

What I love is that burrrrgaaah with proper patties. Those are clearly all-beef, no breadcrumbs or other crap, and they've been cooked with a proper smash technique. Meaty, but nice and flat so you can put all that seared beef goodness in the mouth. I just can't trust a burger that I can't fit inside my mouth.

My friend and I went to a local medium class restaurant a few years ago I ordered jambalaya with a starter salad and I hated the place so did he it was closed before the end of the year with 4.5 star on Google I posted my own review and I got shit from the restaurant on Google guess I was right the jambalaya was way WAY under seasoned and the "ranch" was milky water at best and I agreed with them it was homemade as no company could produce that bad a dressing I love Dayms reviews because of the guilty pleasure of roasting bad restaurants.
