I admit that we've now been watching your videos since the beginning of 2021 but had not yet commented. I LOVE your videos, and have shared them with my 1500 member FB group that is for people that love Italy, many of whom wew born there and others who have retirement homes there. A very dear friend now lives near Scalea, down south. Everyone in the group loves your videos. Personally, my favorite topics that you cover are the gardening and cooking, home projects, and the hikes you go on. Taking us away from the usual tourist areas and seeing how you and your neighbors live is delightful. The interplay between your family and friends (including Holly and the cats) is lovely to watch too, and really makes the rest all the more enjoyable. I am an artist and the other thing I love is when you showcase local crafts like the pottery and the guy who makes the custom sunglasses. Now in my 60's I don't think I'd be up to the steps in Positano again, (visited Italy and Amalfi in the late 1980s), and so I really appreciate all you show us, and hope you enjoy doing these videos as much as those of us who watch them. - Grazie mille, from a grandma in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

When we lived out in the country (45 yrs ago) we raised our own beef, had chicken and duck eggs, a large garden where I canned, dried and froze food. We lived off our land (we had venison and bear too)and it was the best 10 years of our marriage. We moved from the city to the country and then back to the city. My heart and mind always go back to my country home. Open the freezer pull out some meat, frozen corn (tasted like fresh off the cob), string beans, tomatoes, apple sauce whatever I felt like. Made my own bread. Very seldom did I have to go into town for food. Good days, happy days. I love your vlogs and enjoy watching you cook. One of these days I shall try to make those little round thumb pastas you make. Looked really good along with the pesto sauce.

Wonderful!! The fritatta is exactly what a dinner should be...simple but good for the soul...missing was a nice crusty loaf of Italian bread...but is that banned on these days also? Maybe something made with that local flour....the cats, whatever they may be, are very smart, knowing the you and Carlo will love them anyway! Congrats on a great video...let's see more, please! PS...plant some datterini tomatoes someplace...they make the best pasta sauces, caprese salads, and just to eat alone, sliced on a plate with a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper...perfect! Stay safe!

All we need now is some warmer weather up here in Tuscany so anything we plant will grow! Many thanks for your answer...and keep up the great work.
