mang tootz is like UST... an institution. i think every student in ust has gone and eaten even once in his eatery. mang tootz is also a very nice and friendly man. even if he can't remember your name (well it is understandable since there are lots of people going in and out of his eatery), sometimes he remembers by face and will acknowledge you.

I just watched it on Netflix and now this. You are absolutely right about more PH street foods being shown more! We need the world to see baluts, taho, bibingka, sumans and more :) When I was a student in Benilde, one of the famous streetfood there was the piyaya at the back of the main campus, it's the one near BPI. It's been there since 2012 or even way back. It's famous among students. Also, Babe Mike's Shawarma rice along vito cruz, it's in front of Pacific Regency condominum. SO GOOD!!! I'll never forget that :)
