so your doing a comparison whilst pedaling with two different riders ❌ . . . it should be done 4 times with each rider on both bikes after fully re-charging the batteries and not pedaling ✅

We do each take a turn on the different bikes to compare results. It is not possible to do this without pedaling most street legal ebikes do not have throttles and are only pedal assisted.

I ordered a Dengfu eMTB with Bafang M600 a few months ago. It was shipped from the factory but is stuck in a warehouse on the China/Mongolia border waiting for the customs backlog to clear up. So frustrating. I live in Mongolia FYI. Dengfu basically just makes the frames and uses any parts you like (if available).

Yes it’s a great bike. The battery is still fine but I don’t ride it very often. So I don’t need to charge it often.

You clearly dont know what you are talking about.. you miss understood between a “torque” and a “speed”.. What these guys do clealrly said a “drag test” which is more for Speed. Torque is something for going “up-hill” which in that case, Bafang would eat Bosch alive!

And also other factor such as : The rider is different? the power (Watts)of battery? The total weight?different specs of gears? Etc? Ive seen some people on youtube build 4000+watts bafang ultra max.. can bosch do the same for 1500 watts? Let alone 4000+? And many more stuffs..

@@gmail.commmmmmmmmmmmm nope. Torque is also about acceleration. if Bafang would really has 120 Nm it would accelerate significantly faster than 85 Nm Bosch. It would also go faster than Bosch because of the major thing limits the top speed is the air resistance which again translates directly to the torque of the motor. But according to the video they accelerate identically and the top speed is identical. So Bafang definitely lies about the torque or M600 has 120 Nm torque maybe at 10 RPM and then at higher RPM that torque degrades significantly up to 85-90 Nm which is what we see on the video which means Bafang motor is a piece of crap.

@@illla nope.. it's all programming. while the m600 is more capable, it's program to have limits, otherwise people will complain about it not being a bike and more a moped. unlock it, then tell me it's weak.

Good stuff... I have the bafang m400 just done 11,000 kms and the battery and motor still doing well. Have serviced it which it needed and it does make the odd noise now but you can still get parts for it even though it is a 2017 motor. I also have a 2020 JAM2 😉 My Kiox just told me it’s memory was getting low and the only way to fix that is to sync it with the app.... bit suss 🤔

Interesting. Perhaps the Yamaha PW-X2, against Brose S-mag, or Polini, vs. Shimano. Quite impressed with the Bafang M510. E-bike reviewers, refer to it as cheap. I say if ya can afford any e-bike...you're either rich or ya don't have much expenses. Most videos of e-bikes are not owners! And that keeps me very skeptical about all the positive reviews of e-bikes.

I have the m620 and my m8 has the Bosch, 620 is way faster , not sure if its twice as powerful ( bikes do not weigh the same) but definitely worth having the bafang.

Bosch rates the motor at "250w Nominal" In reality its peaking around 600w so not far off the Bafang's power output

Any throttle-only rider needs to look into LUNA Cycles, they make specific bikes meant to be ridden with throttle if you want. Also, there are Recumbent I think it's called With Hand Peddaling setup with the Bafang ultra motor but it's a 3-wheel setup. Hope this helps some.

I just bought a Cube Hybrid Reaction Pro with the CX, and was having second thoughts on the power output, but this video helped justify my decision. I understand the nominal VS peak output, but it’s hard to tell if Chinese manufacturers are being honest with their ratings. At the end of the day I went with a brand that I can just take to my local 99 Bikes if it has issues, and not have to call Ding Feng Shuei in China. Next order of business is the Volspeed 4. Lessgo!

You’re trying so hard to feel good about your purchase. Bafang is a beast of a motor which blows away bosch easily, they are also way easier to repair and maintain. And cheaper as well. Sure the cube is not bad but don’t try to downplay on bafang.
