Your tutorial helped me do this with Kubold Movement Animeset pro. Looks so cool brother. I have a tip also. I am working on combat strafing kinda like gta 4 and rdr 2 has it for melee. With the fighting animeset pro. Instead of using MoveSpeed for PlayRate only. I am also using the MoveSpeed curve to update the Character Movement Max Walk Speed on the PlayerBP as well I have a Previous Move Speed Curve and Move Speed Curve float variable. And on the animation i also duplicate the MoveSpeed curve and rename it PreviousMoveSpeed That way if I want to make an animation play slower. I modify the curve and adjust the previous movespeed curve to be slower or faster and set it to the MoveSpeed that will be transferred to the movement component of MaxWalkSpeed. The reason i added this is because in KuboldFightingAnimesetPro. The WalkFwd or SideStep Left/Right start at a 0 speed in the beginning of the animations. So even with the playrate curve only. it will still have slight foot sliding. And i will notice it if i try to adjust the speeds of the animation. So with updating MaxWalkSpeed also. When animation is 0. The player will not move at all then start moving and it looks just like using root motion. And it also allows me to set a slow walk. walk, fast walk just using 1 walk animation. Because I just slow down the rate scale and then modify the speed curve to match the rate scale. The stride warping will make it match. Hope this helps someone who wants to do something similar. Will have to make a few tweaks to other functions for it to work. Or code when to allow to update the movespeed or not. For example if Idle or not. Because since the combat fighting side step Left animation starts at 0 speed. the character will not move.

awesome brother. you can probably implement it alot better as well. Gonna post videos of the locomotion and combat locomotion i have set up soon hopefully. @@TechAnimStudios
