Especially when the Taskmaster from Black Widow got her copying skills from a computer in her helmet and not from a natural talent. And if anyone's confused about the pronouns I used for Taskmaster, spoiler alert: Taskmaster is not Tony Masters but Dreykov's daughter. And you wouldn't get that from promotional materials because the Captain America stuntman Andy Lister wore the suit for most of the movie to preserve the twist about Taskmaster being a woman. They wanted us to think a character who came from a place that came from a place that trained female assassins was a man so that we would make misogynistic outbursts at a movie when we were already watching it for the badass ladies. Not a good twist to preserve in a Black Widow movie.

I have no idea why they used that in the pre-release marketing for the show. I probably wasn't gonna watch it anyway, but I can't imagine someone getting hyped up to watch a show where the action part they found worthy of highlighting had choreography and stunt work that looked like a high school project. Like, were the other fight scenes later in the show - presumably with higher stakes - somehow worse?

@@flamemasterelan the exaggeration in comment sections is always interesting. Iron Fist was horrible and everyone universally agreed. Disney+ has had one truly great series, a couple meh ones and a couple awful ones, which is basically the exact same scoreboard as the Netflix universe.

@@CamJames The difference is that the Netflix shows started with Daredevil, which was FANTASTIC. Not only that, while the 2nd season dipped a tiny bit, the 3rd and last season was actually the best of the bunch. On top of that, Luke Cage was decent and Jessica Jones I quite enjoyed (different style, though). The choreography in Daredevil is just miles ahead of anything Disney has put out, period, for TV shows. And the writing is better than 99%.
