tonymon chana it’s weird, cause you can get stuck in those ruts for days and then you have 5 minutes of no mind and you can’t believe the hell you were going through lol of course tho, that’s the mind coming in again looking back which is then lost again. Priceless! I remember in Australia a woman apologising for her snoring before we all slept ... I thought 'how bad can it be?', how nice of her!! She gave us all ear plugs ... then i found out why!!! It was beyond believable ... but she had been so apologetic and did her best .... i finally fell asleep when i, humorously and out of desperation, created her snoring as birdsong!! Problem solved!! I have been an eckhart reader and listener for many years. Some people question the legitimacy of what he speaks of. Have you noticed that in the many, many hours he continuously speaks during these retreats that he virtually make no grammatical errors?? I am a good speaker but would struggle to sustain the consistency with no ummmms or awwws for 15 minutes. 1:18:14 “It means looking through the layers of illusion that pretends to be a person, and not making human unconsciousness into an identity for that person…or you get stuck with the wall of unconsciousness. How amazing I came to this Omega Institute series teaching of Eckhart after I stopped my daily recites of mantra for a year now, and found the exactly wisdom articulated in modern language and in such a few simple words. Nothing to new to say, nothing new to do. You can remain in this form identity for as long as you feel comfortable with. Interestingly you used Oprah (A powerful rich black woman) to shed awareness into gender and race inequality where a white man gets more opportunities than women and other races 😂 But everyone who is familiar with Oprah is aware of her humble beginnings and how she overcame racial and gender stereotypes, she basically didn’t buy into the collective identity of it! Perhaps you could do this as well. Maybe you have not learned how to do this yet?
