100 years is long enough for me. Or 75 , years or thereabouts. Everyone says life is too short. Sometimes it seems to speed up ( when you look at stuff that happened in your past ) Sometimes it seems to go slow ( like when you're at a job you don't like ) I would say life is not too short ( unless you die early ) , that it is a long life.

@Gurdura - Emotional Health & Peace: You have discovered an important part of the mind's function _ "The Loyal Servant". "The other side of the coin" however, is not "a torturous master", but the misleading result you can get - as the result of "The torture of the Evil Spirits", sending us thoughts .. we think .. is our own. --- The more we develop our spiritual nature, the better we will recognize the nature .. of our thoughts. As a result of that, we will easier react on THE NATURE .. of the thoughts we have - and be able to say: "Why should I express the thoughts with THESE words, which is unnatural for me to use"? --- The thoughts that is sent you .. from evil spirits, are received by "The Loyal servant" - translated and put into the correct place in your brain. So - your mind - is .. again: "The Loal Servant". === In the end .. it is up to us, whether we will accept this explanation, or not.

"Why don't they teach this in school"? Because school is specifically modelled to make us go in the total opposite direction of awareness and true infinite nature. It's practically a training camp to teach you how to be a fearful, materialistic zombie.
@anitaramesh13663 жыл бұрын
Yes that's true. The same question came to me. Why not teach this in school? But somewhere I feel it's like taking the horse to the water. Only if it wants to drink it will. So teaching spirituality in school may help but it may not. It's interesting how life's experiences lead some in a spiritual direction. It may have been accessible all along but you only reach out when you see the truth of it.

When you meet something new and unknown you have no thoughts about it in the very first moments. Because it is unknown, you need a brief moment of silence for associations to emerge. I want to thank you. I found your book The Power of Now in 2005 or six when I was going through the hardest time of my life I left my husband father my children and testified against him and he was scentenced to 37 years in prison and I did all of this alone with some help from very few members of my family since then I've grown and moved on with my life and found myself very knowledgeable about things but I felt I knew too much About nothing I started to lose my connection and didn't realize it until today. I gave your book away a few years ago and I recently purchased it again and received it last week. A couple days after my fiance and the love of my life whom I've been with on and off since I was 17 years old passed away. It tore me up. My grieving days off were limited and I was headed back to work today but I couldn't do it. I wound up driving toward the delta and this video popped up and it gave me everything everything I needed. It's like I went through this whole circle of life just to go back to the beginning again. I used to get so frustrated watching your videos because I couldn't grasp what you were saying but this time I heard you. I heard myself from the God in Me.

When I was a child, I was on a camping trip. It was a hot sunny day, and I was running on a narrow shaded path listening to the wind brush the trees. I was completely in the moment and underneath a huge canopy. All of a sudden, I felt an incredible exhilaration and happiness. I could actually feel the aliveness in the trees! I was breathing heavily and sweating, but I felt like the trees were a part of me. My mind was completely in tune with them, and they were giving me a continuous stream of oxygen. I started to feel like I was flying! My joy was indescribable have always tried to recreate the peace and extreme joy I felt that day!

So simple, the struggle is only in seeing that it is simple. Let go of that struggle.

@@InnerResearcher Hello Gabie, thank you for your reply. I watched your 50 acts of kindness video with my wife just now. It seems to me you have a good, kind heart - and it shines in your face. You are a co-worker with Eckhart, no doubt about it. Please keep up the good work - I know you will - but don't beat yourself up, because nobody is perfect, so don't worry about it. And look after yourself - stay safe! (sorry to finish on a slightly negative note). I hope your life is filled with happiness! Best wishes From John and Liz x

I've just started looking at Eckhart's videos and the one thing that really stands out to me is how powerful silence can be. He's going along making a great point then. . . That break grabs my attention in ways that him speaking more loudly never could. I think I'm going to try it! : )

Your knowledge on this higher level of consciousness and awareness, is helping with my meditation and focusing on the NOW.. My alcoholism, or so I thought was exclusive to my thinking but in listening to you, I have come to believe this is a human mind conditioning. Thank you for helping me and many many others become a better version of myself!

Amazing how I forget what works, and lose awareness and fall into thinking, again and again. Then appears a reminder of what works and it all begins again. Thank you, again.

Me too. Dr Joe dispenza said it's normal, like training a stallion. If you keep being aware of the thought program. Don't judge just notice and be aware. Then do not allow it. Switch focus to awareness get in the moment. When you can observe the program, you are not the program. At some point the mind will be trained. Good luck, I wander into thought and back out too, I'm working on it.

Your philosophy is sound Eckhart. I am 64 years old. I am applying your teaching of making it a habit to stay present or stay in the “Now”. This practice is helping my mind stay clear, rational and calm. Thank you for teaching us. I love when you laugh. ❤

Eckhart thank you for sharing your inner knowing. I am learning more and more to experience stillness. It’s been imperative to work with my PTSD. What you are describing is so important to function at a higher level of consciousness and not let negative thoughts run your life and reality.

For those of you fellow beautiful souls who haven't realised: Eckhart is God itself self-realised and fully awakened in this dream of separation. He is all-present, he is all-knowing and he is all-powerful. He is teaching us the way, the truth, the life. Amen.
