Hey, I installed a new battery and alternator, but engine still turns when I disconnect battery terminal. They only way I can check the alternator is when the engine is on, and I only get 12.5 volts and that voltage is probably from battery. I can't figure this one out if anyone can help solve this will be compensated.

my car new only put out 13.4 volts max , at all times even with everything on its a Mazda 6.. dealer said its normal

Guys I have a 2004 Mazda Axela. My battery light came on while driving. Did a voltage test on it found out that the alternator is not charging the battery. Did a code test, got this code P2503, charging system voltage low. Did further testing then found out that two pins in the PCM is sending the wrong volts to the alternator🤷🏽‍♂️

There is no L or F terminal in a computer controlled alternator

I believe Ford uses an F terminal and it's a pcm controlled alternator. I was working on a 2022 econoline 7.3L van today that has an f terminal. Code p0625-2F generator field F terminal circuit low.

Autozone sold me a shit alternator that randomly spicked to about 19v and I’m pretty sure it fried my ECM. Car is jumping volts with the ecu is plugged into the voltage regulator. Unplug the regulator and it runs manually… runs perfect

Was it your car`s computers fault in the end? Sounds like it`s getting the wrong signal.
