Error: Peasant revolts against forecd indigo cultivation were initatied much before Gandhi, back in 1859-60 in Bengal. Nor does the indigo plant increase soil fertility, rather decreses it. That was the primary reason of Blue Rebellion. 05:17 to 05:20
