There is a MUCH easier way that takes under 60 seconds. Unless the Euro version has extra steps, due to them putting extra "tamper proof" brackets on there, that we don't have?

i can confirm the EU version do have an extra bracket, and I had to remove the rear fender to get the ecu out

@@meyou90600 Yeah, since my comment, I have seen that the EU bikes are different. Ours slide right out just by taking the seat off...

@@davesbikesI have the same bike. I also found BC Performance as they are local. Very interested to know your thoughts on the remapping and the experience of BC. I love the bike but HATE the snatch throttle and the over idle on cold start up. It’s terrible. I either fix it or sell the bike….. really keen to see how you went.

@iamthebroker 100% worth doing. If I were in your position I would have bcperformance do a dyno tune, but because I am in Victoria I just had them flash a tune into the ECU. With the tune, I can now throttle on in the middle of a corner without upsetting the bike. This is the second Z I have had, both of them I have had the tune, it transforms the bike. You can speak to them about the start up idle too if that is a concern for you.
