Ed Has the Hardest Combos in SF6

Previously, we looked at some extremely specific but cool Ed combos that he got on certain throw baits and reversal punishes. However, there's been a revolution with Ed's level 2 super and some really good, but hard combos have been found that might push Ed up the tier list. Could this be my reason to play the character again?

If you noticed momochi inputs he’s holding down “crouch” once you see ED is about to crouch you do the heavy blitz that’s the timing for it , it makes it easier but still hard to do

Just started playing ed a few weeks ago and he's so tough to nail down but I slowly started getting it...and then bison dropped and he's literally destroying me smh

But his game plan is easily the most fun to watch, with Ed vs Luke in particular being one of my favorite matchups to watch in the whole game.

@@erno6155 same here, it’s been hella tough since this is my first proper SF game, and some unfortunate things with the ranked system placing me way above where I should be, but Ed is genuinely one of the most fun and entertaining characters I’ve ever played in a fighting game.

Agreed. It's taken me weeks to get ed down then I just get on with bison and I'm running through ppl 😔. Went right back to ed. I'll pull bison out when I'm in a cheesy mood.

There is a bit of an overlap with deejay and Ed. The key to being good with either is overloading their stack, more so than other characters. Ed is trying to charge flicker mixed with ending light flicker, spark with or without ball, end with slightly unsafe light blitz or with backsway etc. it's all about making them have no idea what you're gonna do, and deejay is much the same. He can feint everything, Can dr sway while Ed can dr kill switch. Heavy blitz will desync on a 7 or 8 frame gap, 1st dp isn't too bad you just catch them off the ball, and third is faster than you think it is. It's just a microwalk, or the ball leaves them behind. Also, the big body version is even better and easier, normal heavy blitz, and then auto timed HDP, HDP, kill rush, HDP, HDP. Like 5900+ and DPs all auto timed.
