John Nelson (The guy with the strat) owns a vintage guitar shop in hollywood and he sold me a 2005 Gibson Les Paul. I recommend everyone go see his store. He is right next to the sunset strip guitar center.

I like the drag-racing video of this song. It reminds me of my younger brother when he owned hot-rod cars and raced them on the streets for titles. He owned a Ford Mustang 2+2, a custom Dodge Colt with a small block V-8, speckled-paint under the hood, super nice interior, custom racing wheels and tires, in other words, the works! Guys came running to just check the oil of the little Dodge Colt. He wiped it out drag-racing in Portland (Louisville) Kentucky. God, I miss my brother...

I was in Mommy and me class in Burbank, CA with John Nelson's wife Gail. We were both a few weeks away from having our first children in the fall of 1983. We became good friends and I eventually started caring for their son when our sons were about 3-4 months old. They moved around 1988 or so. We moved in 1991. We lost track of one another. I've tried to track them down over the years. Around 2001, Eddie Money played at The California Midstate fair in Paso Robles, CA. We had moved to San Luis Obispo County in 1991. My ex husband and I went to the concert. Then we stood in line just to ask Eddie if he had been in touch with them. He said that he hadn't heard from them in quite a while.

he played in Memphis in 87 2 and at Mud Island on the Mississippi River.. people were in their ski boats and yaughts as well -listening along with beautiful lights displayed on the water it was beautiful and i will never 4get it... he was my very fav at that x in my life and at 23

saw him live back in the summer, it was an outdoor venue and it came a thunderstorm and the band kept playing until stuff started shorting out. the support that he promoted for the military combined with the rest of his show was awe inspiring.

I was good friends with The Eddie Money Band's lead guitar player's wife when we were pregnant with our first sons. We were in Mommy and me class in Burbank, CA, just a few weeks before we gave birth. She in mid September 1983 and me Oct 6, 1983. We remained close through 1989. I was their childcare provider when her hubby went on tour and nobody would keep my son longer than 15 minutes before I received the phone call telling me I had to come home because he wouldn't stop screaming. It ended up working out for both of us. Then they moved in 1989 and we moved in 1991. I miss Gail Nelson and her family! If John Nelson sees this...or Gail, Christopher, Stephanie, or Jennifer Nelson...please let John and Gail know that I have been looking for them for a very long time! I cannot believe our oldest sons will be 38 this year. September for Christopher and October for my son Jason! Also, I finally am a Bubbe. My younger son, became a Daddy at the end of December 2020.

OMG!! I recorded this show when it was on (88?), only my tape cut out a little farther then this does. Been looking for a replacement. I thought I could use the end of this one, but looks like I can't. I saw it on ebay years a go from Japan. It went for almost $100. My tape is almost worn out. Wish I could find a replacement. Tommy GIrvin (the rhythm player here) took over and stayed for about 20 years until the end. He is pretty good but I really love Johns play for the band. His sound fit so well.
