This show is underrated, great balance of story and humor.

The cinematography and general camera work crafts such a realistic feeling of small towns in Tasmania. It's such a great experience. We need more of this. And of course, the acting in Deadloch is stupendous. I hope the writers have enough material for at least 4 seasons, now that they've got the green light for a season 2 (as of July 2024). There's still plenty more to do.

It really is terrific. The start is slow, but there's a wonderful gradual build-up of characters and intrigue. The depiction of these small Tasmanian towns feels so gritty and real, like actually being there. I'm so stoked we're getting a 2nd season... only, it was just announced this past July, which means we've got to wait a whole year. Worth it, though.
