Bottles aren’t really recommenced, it’s best on a bowl. Hay isn’t really recommended as a litter for them either, try Kaytee bedding. ❤️❤️ much love and beautiful bunny

Thanks! It was a quick set up while we were sorting everything. Our bunnies love to dig the kaytee and make a big mess (and their pee smells!) so we changed to puppy pad with hay on top. We adjust to how our bunny react and the pad has been working well, they know which area to pee and which area is for eating. Also, you may not see it but we also use both bottle and water bowl to give them more options to drink from. There are pro and con for both bottle and bowl and our bunny use both depending how they feel. dust, hair, fur and particle goes into the water bowl every hour, so changing the water every hour is important and we are not always around to do that every hour.

Dog Lover lol yes it is way too small for her. She got her own room now with another sister. That’s why we named it TEMPORARILY bunny house. When you adopt a new bunny you have two options. Put it in a big space. Or slowly transition from a smaller place that is safer for the small bunny and will make it feel more relax, but definitely not the ideal size house for a full grown rabbit, unless you attach a big enough playpen.

Did you make the cute little home? I’m picking up my baby on Monday and he currently will have a wire cage. I want to eventually switch the cage to a flat bed, so it doesn’t hurt his feet. Do you have any suggestions?

Mikayla Bordeleau Hi, thank you for you comment, and sorry for my late reply. I would recommend you get something sturdy to put on top of the bottom of the cage, as wired cages are really bad for your bunny feet. Also please consider bunny proofing a space for your bunny to play and Binky while supervise, or attach a Rabbit run/ puppy pen so your bunny can stretch his/her legs safely even when your are not around. A hutch/cage is not enough for bunnies that’s only their sleeping area, you will see and enjoy a more special bond with your bunny. To your question we did not make the house, only the cardboard one, but honestly she and her sister enjoys the boxes more because they can dig and make holes in the box and that put an end to their chewing other stuff habit I hope my advice was useful and please keep in touch and tell me how your bunny and you are up to.
