Just a quick, thanks, these days it is harder to do e erything, like remembering why I went into a room. The programing of little radio things , without you videos ,I might have thrown the radio away ... my son is a systems analyst, so I gave him a tx16s with addon ELRS....lol . Take care.

Good video. Keep in mind that the student's Expo is used and not the Master's. So when no Expo is set on the student radio, no Expo is used on the channels.

Thank you for making this tutorial. I have an issue though, since updating to the latest edgetx, i cannot find "Tr" functions anywhere. Would you be able to guide me to what the new equivalent is?

Trainer stuff only appears when you have the radio setup as MASTER for the trainer function, I'd check that you have that set. When asked about EdgeTX, it is handy to specify exactly what version you are on, as things change quickly. Best of luck!

RADIOMASTER sell their own version, but any should work

The DIY head tracker can now put out an S-bus signal besides the PPM signal. Some RC transmitters can make use of S-bus. I have set up my Powerbox Atom transmitter with the DIY head tracker via S-bus and I think that it is much more stable and works better than using a PPM signal from head tracker to transmitter.

Lots have had the same problem. RadioMaster sell their own trainer cable that works better but I would like to see a better connector to support all 3.5mm jacks and not stop working as it gets used... Happy flying

Please help me I’m struggling so much I’ve tried setting up head tracking with the boxer but nothing is working right. I’ve set up the boxer as the master jack and I’ve tried messing with the mixes and the inputs but nothing is coming through. Please help me. I’ve gotten the Motionsic head tracker and the camera mount as well I should add.

I'd check that the HT is outputting signals and the cable you're using is ok. Best of luck

Do they have to be the same brand of radio when you connect as a trainer, can the slave be a futaba or a JR?

Great tutorial, I try to follow your steps (TX16s to Jumper T-Lite V2) with no luck, I believe my trainer cable is not compatible. I had tested few audio cables, the 3 pin jack dosent work, 4 pin works...TX16s speaker said "trainer signal recovered" & immediately follow by "trainer signal lost". LoL 😂 😂 Is the trainer cable same as 3.5 audio jack cable?

RadioMaster sell their own 'trainer cable' but I use stereo cables here without issue (as seen in the video). I think the port they use in the TX16s is a weakpoint.. Best of luck!

@@Painless360 Finally managed to fix the TX16s port problem from your earlier video. The port is so bad I have to do the bending of pin (open my TX16s) 3 times to get a solid connection 😅
