BAY BAY I went to New Orleans last year with my younger cousins. I’m trying to hang with the 21 year olds and I’m 40. When I tell you it hit after we’d walked a mile from our hotel to bourbon street. They had to carry me up out the restaurant because I got so hot I tried to take off my clothes. They stood me up against a light pole. I slid down, vomited all up against a police car and laid there. Our Uber cancelled and we had to walk back to our hotel. Them kids never let me hear the end of that

I do actually have a story now that I'm finished laughing. .... my dude and I were in the tub chillin', having drinks and what not. Well someone made him some edible rice krispy treats.. well my dumb ass apparently ate too much because I was unable to move. I felt like I was paralyzed and I thought I was about to die in the bathtub like Whitney Houston. I was trying to talk but it was like no words were coming out so Im panicking in my mind but couldn't say shit. Numb and unable to speak in hot water is a scary thing. Well my dude had to literally pick me up out the tub. Dry me off and put me in the bed. I slept til 2 the next day. This all happened at 8:30. Terrible. (hangs head in shame)

First, I felt like I was floating and was happy as hell. And then I convinced myself that if I can drive tipsy than I can handle driving high.... WRONG AF. I was so got damn paranoid and kept wondering if I was running over a children or squirrels. I was driving 20 mph in 45 zone. You gotta get the edibles from the dispensary. Or from someone who knows how to measure the dosage. I went to Denver with my BFF. He arrived before me and had already bought some gummies. He said he only ate half of a gummy (10mg) because he wasn't sure how it would hit. I'm a smoker so I didn't think it would affect me much. Shiiiiiid!! After shmoking 3 cones with my homie over the course of the evening, drinking a lil tequila, and eating that gummy, I was STUCK to the couch 🤣🤣 I told him I was stuck and he hit me with the "I told you so"🤦🏽‍♀️🤣. Chilllllleeee my homegirl gave me a crumble of one while we were taking back margaritas down at the bar. 30mins later, I got hot like someone had a space heater on my back! I’m sweating and then the devil came and sat on my shoulder and told me “bitch this is it!” Baby, I started looking around for my final resting place in that restaurant. I debated if I should lay down for a few minutes in a booth or just let the Lord come get me at the bar. My heart was racing fast and I talked myself into tippy toeing to the door to get some air. Damn...you must've heard about my story. Happened just a week ago. I've never once SMOKED or hit the blunt. No drugs and have a very high tolerance for alcohol. I have had edibles before just to test my tolerance and once for menstrual pain on a girls retreat. NOTHING! No symptoms, no nothing. From there I thought sure it didn't effect me at all. Last week I was at a healing meeting for mother's who have lost their children to gun violence. I was only there to be a support. My y son died at 4 months old but not from gun or any violence. He was born with two holes in his heart. Anyway, a friend who works in the weed industry had gummies. Someone asked her for one b4 the meeting started. I bragged about how they do nothing for me. She insisted I try hers. I did. During the meeting I started to feel like I was lower to the floor than I was. That's when I noticed 👀uh oh! Then, as we were all 6 feet apart in a circle with masks on I noticed that I was smiling underneath my mask while this woman is telling the story of her son who was shot and killed. It definitely was like an out of body experience because I was checking ME after each action. Like "are u smiling while this woman..." I then realize I'm laughing but on the low. I told myself to get tf up and walk outside NOW! I excused myself as I'm laughing hoping they think I'm crying. I get outside and balled over laughing and snorting. Long story short...the mask saved my life. Thank you COVID-19. The kicker was, it lasted through the next day. But I was praying to God to please restore the other 90% of my brain by 3pm because I had a phone interview with a Medical Marijuana Dispensary company. 😩🤦🏾‍♀️ NEVER AGAIN!!!

Listen, y'all dug this story up so I gotta tell what happened next. I got some of my brain back by eating sardines (brain food) for my interview with the dispensary. I had a 2nd & 3rd interview and got the job! I'm at work and cramping again 😩. A co-worker gives me a gummy bear with a tincture on it to ease my pain. My dumb behind takes it! Just as I was about to step down out of my high seat to go tell her it was weak was when it hit me. Everything started going in slow motion. I worked in Intake so patients saw me first. My other co-worker working beside me took the same one. But of course he's used to it and is good with the high it gave him. So he's asking me if I'm ok. Eventually I had to tell him that I'm not good and I probably shouldn't be in front, patients shouldn't see me like this. He says go in the break room and just chill. So I go. But first I stop in the showroom to tell my co-worker that I'm fucked up and I'm laughing about it. She's laughing but then scared as shit that she's gonna loose her job for giving it to me because she forgot I didn't have a card. She says go in the breakroom and she'll check in on me. I go. Wth is EVERYONE in the damn break room today of all days????? Including my GM. 😳 Well a co-worker got engaged over the weekend so we were celebrating her engagement with food we ordered. Normally I'm in there by myself or no more than 2 ppl. I ordered lamb chops while everyone else ordered gyros so all eyes were on me and my bougie lamb chops. So sorry I eat good and y'all all hot sick from your gyros. 🤷🏾‍♀️. Only me and the CEO ordered lamb chops. Anyway, the only seat available was right in front of my GM. 😬 So I had to try so hard and play off my high. I just began eating and tried to act normal. The engaged co-worker came in and everyone wanted to hear her story about how he proposed. So that took some attention off of me. But I felt it was also awkward because I was unable to focus, participate or give eye contact. As my high got worse I was only able to take a few bites of my lamb chops and barely any rice...I couldn't keep lifting the plastic fork in slow motion like that so I just put it down. I couldn't figure out what to do to make me look normal. Some of my other co-workers knew so when I made eye contact with one he was at the other end of the table cracking up laughing in silence. 😭 So I almost start laughing but caught myself before it became uncontrollable...like before. My co-worker who was scared came in by then and couldn't find a seat but I told her to go grab a chair and she sat right next to me to keep an eye on me. By then I couldn't eat or focus so I turned my back to my GM and the engaged co-worker telling her story. It was very odd because it seemed intentional to not pay her attention and just turn and look at the sink. I felt so bad for that. Eventually everyone left the breakroom and I didn't even know it. 🙃 Idk how long I was sitting there after everyone left. Our breaks were only a half hour so I knew mine must be over also. I told myself "you gotta get up and get back to work." Just when I got up I saw that the engaged co-worker was in there too. She could finally get a seat to eat. I closed up my food and went to put it in the fridge near where she was sitting. I opened the door, put my food in and apologized to her. She said "Oh no you didn't hit me with the door." I said "no, I'm sorry that I wasn't able to participate in your great news about your engagement.. I'm just in so much pain." I wasn't sure if SHE knew or not. She said " no worries." After that I went to wash my hands at the sink and time stood still. Idk how long I was standing there but I think she was gone by then and I had to wake up and tell myself to LEAVE THE BREAKROOM NOW!!!!!! Everyone was back to work except me. I still stood there. Until I heard a director walk by in a hurry calling for the other director in an aggressive manner. So I was scared that he saw me and I was gonna be fired. I finally made it out of the breakroom and started my way down the long (short) hallway to my work station. Omw I realized I couldn't work like this. So I pulled another co-worker to the side who knew, and told him I needed to go home. He asked if I was okay and was laughing a little but assured me that it was OK for me to go home and that he would cover me. I told him just to tell my GM that I was in so much pain I had to leave. He said he would and I would be fine. I got my things to leave. The security guard knew as well. He told me to get home safe. I worked in my neighborhood so I could walk home. But I got outside and I was scared that I would have a lapse in motion in the middle of the street and get hit by a car. I forgot my co-worker walked to the gas station nearby to get us all drinks. She was coming back when she saw me leaving and asked if I was ok and told me to let her know when I got home. I told her that I can't walk home. She said she'll go get her car and take me home. She went inside to get her keys and it felt like 5 hours went by. I stood on a main street hanging on for dear life to a fence because I was scared I'd wonder off into the street. It was the worst!!!!! 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️. The guard was upstairs looking out the window watching over me to make sure I was ok. He said he was laughing and that I was white knuckled holding on to that fence for dear life. 😭 He said that's the kinda high he wants when he's finally retired and able to partake. 🤣 A silver van pulled up near me and opened the side door. I was wondering...wait...I know her car is silver...but is it a van? That was too coincidental and too scary. I almost walked over to it. But then when she finally did pull up across the street I turned around instantly and knew it was her car. I was shocked at that alertness in the mist of such time lapse. I was also shocked I could direct her to where I live. I got home, laid down, didn't wake up until the next day. Called off from work. I was high for 3 days!!! 😵‍💫🥴 My GM was supportive because he knew what women go through at that time of the month. I made it back to work in enough days to still finish my lamb chops! Hey, I wanted my lamb chops! 🤷🏾‍♀️ 🤣 I'm DONE done now! My BFF is so mad at me for keep taking ppl's gummies. She knows me. She knows how chill I am naturally that I don't need my chill enhanced. And if it's the reverse of chill like a Sativa I'm hysterically laughing out of control. So I just better leave it alone!

A lil over 5 years ago me and my girlfriends were in Vegas at a pool party. We thought we'd be smart and get a lil perkin of that liquor before going in to save us some coins. Well a friend from another group had gummies and didn't want to throw them out before she went in. Our dumb asses who have never done edibles decided that we'd kill them off. Mind you we been drinking.... okay so we get into the pool party and planted our asses at the front of the stage in the heat so we could be the first to see Ludacris. Bae-bae when i tell you once the drank, edibles, and heat all combined forces and kicked in we all thought we was bout to die!!!!!! I was so messed up i ditched my girls and left to the bathroom by myself which was a no-no but i didn't care. I went and sat my ass on that toilet to do a #2 and chill for like 20 minutes in the busy bathroom. I heard girls outside like "damn who in there" but i gave zero fucks cuzz i was talking to God asking him for my life, lol. That time and talk in the bathroom brought me back to life and i was able to enjoy the rest of the party. Each one of my friends had to sit they ass on that pavement and drink tons of water to get back right. We still laugh at that shit to this day!!!! Lol

Too funny. My experience: The girls were at a luxury home Air B&B and of course we had plenty of liquor, weed, & edibles. After a few banging margaritas, I saw the gummies on a plate. I picked up a piece about the size of half a starburst. My girl saw me and took it out my mouth. I was so tipsy & it happened so fast. She gave me a piece the size of a tic tac. I was so done... Went to bed within 30 minutes. The next morning I had to teach virtually, me hungover & still high, I didn't even turn on the camera for the students to see me. Edibles are a wild card.

Okay, we need more storytimes! I can no longer smoke weed due to chronique pulmonary embolism so instead I started eating edibles soon after my diagnosis. They only made my eyes dry, I never got high until last week. I had a slave of "cake" at around 10pm and at 4am I was woken up by witches attacking me, I was hearing voices, slaying dragons, cold sweats, room spinning, it took 48hrs to completely recover. She always wore some type of frumpy layered dresses and shoes looked like witches would wear and they would lace up past her Ankle and she had a different ugly pair every week, so one day she missed class, then she came back, keep in mind I’m riding on the yard with friends and we had five on it!
