She was so innocent & simple. These days, the world chews females like that up, & spits 'em out. Love Edith if u want, but don't BE Edith.

The world was totally different in the 70s and, sadly, kind, simple, and honest women like Edith are long gone. Those growing up today have parents don't raise their children anymore. Now, parents believe it's the duty of day care and schools to raise their children and teach them manners and just be kind people, and then there's parents who allow their 5-years-olds access to computers, iPads, iPhones, the internet, and social media influencers to help teach them how to look, act, and earn a living. I'm 56 and tired of hearing young people, below the age of about 25, who want to be "influencers or gamers" when they grow up 🙄 I honestly believe Gen X was the last and best generation ever.

@lisalynnmarie2448 Sorry, can't agree...I have met, or heard about MANY young people who are GOOD people...they care about others, animals, the planet...in short, they care. Tho, as a Gen Xer, I DO AGREE, WE KICK ASS!! LOL.

@@stephaniehowell1109I'm not saying they're all bad kids at all, maybe I just see more than you. I have nieces about that age and one is an EMT/firewoman and my other niece and her friends think they'll be the next TikTok social media sensation lol. It depends on how they were raised. I have a friend that lives down the street and she's in her early 40s with a 6 yo son. She loves to lip synch songs while lying in bed, full makeup on, and post on IG while her son just watches TV or plays on his tablet. It's sad. And yes...Gen X is the best 😂

She needent think 🤔 of brushing her teeth at the same time that I am. Thanks 🙏🏻 to having to have surgery for tongue 👅 cancer, I don’t have any teeth 🦷 and not much left of a tongue 👅. 😢😢😢
