This can also spiral out of control with the entire hip joint. Mine went from tight flexors to lower back to adductors (super tight!) and abductors (glut med/min). It has taken 2 months of weekly PT to strengthen the major hip muscles. It was painful and likely unnecessary if I could have avoided it.
