Aren't sea days the best?? So relaxing with nothing on the schedule... unless you want to do something. We start our day on the Magic Carpet with some mimosas... because... why not? We piddle around the ship and get in Jason's physical therapy and then head to the pool. We are having a wonderful, relaxing pool day until...
We end our night with dinner at Blu, the exclusive restaurant for Aqua Class, and a fun rock show. All in all, a great day on the ship!

They could put on of those automatic coffee dispenser like in gas stations where you push buttons for what kinds you want like a juice machine. Do the rooms have coffee makers in them or is that not allowed for fire hazard reasons?

J&J were saying on their cruise, that they were not allowing people to bring drinks into the pool, they were quite upset with that. That person that puked in the pool is probably why their cruise had the foresight to not allow drinks in the pool. Now the pool gets drained and sanitized, and everyone loses out. Can't wait to sail in April, thanks for the vlog.

Blu is the BEST food I have ever had. Lucky for me & my cousin we cruised with Celebrity to Bermuda several years ago & had an Aqua class balcony room & all Aqua class amenities, including every meal in Blu. Celebrity ships are beautiful & I love the art they display. Enjoy the rest of your cruise & hopefully no one will get sick again.

Early morning before sunrise is my favorite time of day on a cruise ship….so quiet and serene. That first cup of coffee is the best one. It’s also fascinating to watch the maintenance crew at work out on the decks power washing and setting up for the day…you would probably never see them after sunrise.

Thank you for sharing your travels. I always enjoy watching the two of you. My husband and I have only been on the Celebrity Edge and I have to say that we truly enjoyed that cruise...best ever (so far). We hope to travel on both the Apex and Beyond. I just really would love to sail with Captain Kate sometime. We also loved the magic carpet. But we spent quite a bit of time on the rooftop garden. It's so lovely and peaceful up there. We watched movies and even a few football games in the evening. The Edge class ships are amazing. Our only disappointment was the Mast Grill. I think we thought it should be at least as good as Guys Burgers on Carnival. Other than that, we really loved the cruise. Hope to meet you both sometime. Safe travels.

We were on the Apex over Christmas and they said we had 50% capacity at that time as well. However, the ship felt empty and you could have any seat anywhere!! Also, had a bartender on the Magic Carpet named Nickoli and he would make up drinks which were DELICIOUS!

I just got off the Odyssey on Sunday. On Saturday morning a kid vomited in the main pool. Needless to say we couldn’t use it on the last sea day! It was so crowded at the other pool!!

I suffer from coffee angst when I travel. I usually carry my own kettle and German imported instant, creamer, etc. On cruises, I always have a coffee maker with beaucoup extra pods and creamers. Coffee is my passion. When I want it, I want it. And, I want it when I wake up with no search needed. The End. I hope you continue to mend, sweet Jason!

We had the same problem on the Navigator OTS. in Feb. I forgot to try the suite lounge. Our phones freaked out and switched back to our home CST. woke us up really early.

Oh my gosh, the POOL!!! 🤣 At least they cleaned it well. Good to know! LOL! Princess has the International Cafe with coffee 24hrs, tea time every day, and Alfredo’s pizza that’s amazing! They even have calzones… my favorite!!!

@@EECCTravels yes!!! I was able to squeeze in 3 cruises before the shut down and they were all on Princess. I can’t wait to try other lines too!!! Not a lot of bells and whistles on Princess (no FlowRider, water slides, etc). Mainly relaxation and good food. 🤣 I’ve heard it’s a slightly younger Holland America. I’d be interested to see your take on it! Alfredo’s Pizza (included) is great, Crown Grill (specialty) is fabulous, and so is the specialty Sabatini’s… I know you like Italian. Mmmm!!!

Good idea about coffee station. Should have a 24 hour complimentary beverage station. Could be manned by Room Service since they operate 24 hours. Room service is not always free and will include service/ delivery fees and gratuities.

EECC, If you catch this - a great suggestion for early AM coffee - I was introduced to instant ( stay with me ), I now have it everyday - and great to have while traveling - it’s called MAXIM -a Korean brand - bright yellow box with a cup of steaming coffee on front - the individual packets are bright yellow with green top tabs- usually take two packets for a full cup for robust flavor-👍 Easier to order on Amazon. U may find at a local Asian market if stocked. GL ! Thought I share, nice find 😀

Like why would anyone pay more for Prime Cut when you get steaks that look as incredible as those you two had. Our trip is 12 days in May. Can't wait!

That happened to us at the license to chill bar at Margarittaville cancun IR....some lady brought her little kid...about 3 years old if that into the adult only pool (I think adult only) and the kid pooped in the pool...closed it down for 3 hours...hazmat suits and all...though they did not close the bar...lol...there is a god! love MIRCancun going back in October

I was expecting a different sort of ‘accident’ in the pool. I was not expecting to hear that. Throwing up in a pool is beyond embarrassing - been there, done that, been evacced out and sent home. In my case I was half an hour into a nearly three hour shift whilst suffering a migraine. The noise in the pool was overwhelming and then I hurled as I walked to my next station in the pool. I got out, it had only been liquid cos I hadn’t eaten anything, my supervisor calmed me down from my slightly hysterical with embarrassment sobbing and sent me home. So yes, I feel for the poor person who was ill in the pool. It’s gross and horrible but trust me, they’ll feel awful about it.

Oh no! That’s so awful 🤣😭. I’ve thrown up in a pool. It was one of the worst experiences in my life- right up there with hurling as I’m driving 80kmph in the middle of three lanes of traffic. Sadly people vomit in pools. It happens. It sucks. It sucks for everyone. Anyway I bet my bottom dollar they never went back to the pool, so you’re probably safe.

I've never sailed Celebrity (need to :)) isn't there at least one place open 24 hours that has coffee? I *think* every ship I've been on has always had somewhere to get coffee at all hours. We just got off Symphony of the Seas Saturday, and found it interesting that a few of the restaurants/room service would only cook things well done. Someone must have gotten sick! I am surprised that Celebrity don't have a 24/7 Cafe like most other cruise lines. I also think that a electric jug should be in every cabin with a good supply of coffee and tea as it is on most cruises out of Australia. Maybe the pool was emptied and drained because of the covid situation and would otherwise just be filtered and cleaned without draining.

I can relate to Jason's shoulder woes. Thirteen years ago, I had rotator cuff surgery, with an inserted pin, that shows up on my x-rays. I went to see my doctor again, today, several years later dealing with the same shoulder pain. Guess what?!! An issue with my rotator cuff again. Oh the pain. Jason; glad to see you are diligent with the therapy.

They have The Retreat for suites with a private restaurant and private sun deck but it is not contained the The Haven is.

It is first come first serve, but there are two shows each night to spread our the crowds.
