Yoga Nidra is a powerful relaxation technique that can help release stress and anxiety, bringing you back to the present moment. It is a guided meditation that involves lying down comfortably, closing your eyes, and tuning in with yourself.
During a Yoga Nidra session, you will be guided to relax your body through progressive muscle relaxation and natural breathing. You are encouraged to let go of any thoughts, worries or distractions in your mind and focus solely on the present moment. This can help you feel more centred and calm, reducing feelings of stress and anxiety.
As you become more relaxed, you will be guided to connect with yourself fully, releasing any attachment to the past or future. By visualizing peaceful scenes and repeating your sankalpa you further enhance your relaxation and reduce any negative thoughts or emotions.
A key component of Yoga Nidra is the physiological sigh, which involves taking a deep breath in and exhaling with a long, audible sigh. This can help release tension from the body and bring a sense of calm and relaxation.
Overall, Yoga Nidra is a wonderful practice for releasing stress and anxiety and reconnecting with the present moment.

Amazingly relaxing, peaceful experience. 🧘 I've noticed at times while practicing Yoga Nidra, there's a moment during the session I experience a sudden bolt move on my upper body, as if I'm waking up from a dream. Would like to know what is going on with my body/mind when experiencing that sudden bolt move? 🧘

This is a great question! I have had a similar experience. I can not give you an informed answer. I only have my intuition on this matter which is the body recalibrating. However, I would be curious to research this. 🖤✨
