I’ve started doing those soleus muscle exercises while sitting. I’m amazed at how it actually lowers my blood sugar. (Just sitting and raising and lowering your heels while leaving the toes on the floor). I set a timer for an hour and then get up and stand while at the computer and do calf raises. I’ll also walk down the hall doing a few lunges and before sitting down will do some squats. Those large muscle groups getting a blast of fresh blood can only help. I have a small, hand held massage tool I keep nearby and will massage my thighs or feet or anything tense for a minute or two when tense and that is rejuvenating. I’d like to think that a number of small aids add up and provide some overall benefit..

My back gets tender and my vessels get thick in my calf’s from blood pooling .
