This feels like a huge one for me. Underneath my not having it (money) was a deep sense of desolation, loneliness and not being provided and cared for. While I feel a big shift and I got teary, I still feel I haven't really accepted it fully. I feel resistance, it's almost like I'm afraid to. I'll keep tapping. Thank you for the life transforming work you do, GP. Blessings and peace 🕊️🤍🙏☀️
@GPWalsh2 жыл бұрын
Allow the resistance to be there too. That is just the protective mechanism. Just stay with it, lovingly and compassionately. Remember, all that the tapping does is communicate "You are safe" through touch.

Thank you Chuchua. What you are feeling is your natural state when the nervous system has come out of defensive mode. Continue to tap and be gentle. Hi GP! I was wondering if you could do an EFT Tapping video for those who have excess weight to release? My conscious behaviours seem to be aligned with health, as I eat a mostly plant-based diet (no processed food, none of that junk) and I'm physically active. The only conclusion that I can come to is that on an energetic level, my body is holding onto the weight for some reason. I think it might serve to "protect" me from the outside world. I am ready to let it go now. Thanks G!

it is true if it's a specific manifestation you want but can never have
@GPWalsh5 жыл бұрын
It does help to have something specific in mind because it brings up the feeling of not getting what you want. But the overall effect on the nervous system lessons that resistance for all unmet desires because it focuses on the underlying belief.

Hi GP. Thank you very much for your vids, I have found them incredibly helpful (this one in particular) and am super grateful to you for sharing them. I was wondering if you would demonstrate tapping for building and strengthening self-trust? I need to separate myself from someone toxic but am resistant to doing so because I don't feel safe on my own as I don't believe I can rely on myself. Thanks in advance. Namaste!
@jamespat19825 ай бұрын
Gp question: in this video you talk(at the beginning) of realizing their isn’t such thing as a “negative emotion”.. Do you have a video on helping the body realize that negative emotions aren’t real but yet they are good for us to learn&grow from?
@2557claudio6 жыл бұрын
I did it 3/4 times, and at the end I'm laughing at the issue..
@GPWalsh6 жыл бұрын
And the nice thing is that this is a laugh coming from the nervous system itself (which has been holding this belief subconsciously).That means the belief is losing its grip. You are seeing through it at a very deep level. And that is the best kind of laugh.

@williamd9467 жыл бұрын
Hi GP, Would you say EFT is still appropriate for someone who has started to catch on to the false belief in a long lasting self?
@GPWalsh7 жыл бұрын
Yes I would. Because glimpsing the true self is but the beginning. Letting that insight penetrate and take up residence in the entire nervous system does take time and integration. As long as there is a body and a mind, there will be some conditioning. Trust in the truth of what is seen. The behaviors are still running on autopilot and acting from the sense of being a separate self. When you see it as the responses of a sophisticated machine and not your real nature, little by little the body and mind will conform to the truth. That is when the sage emerges and, as it is written, "The Word became flesh"

I understand. Is it easier if you lay down? If not, tap on whatever spot you can reach. If you can’t reach any spot then just imagine the tapping on the points. There is no way you can get this wrong.

GP is great; very sincere. But is it just me or is anyone else struggling to keep up with repeating after him? He doesn’t leave enough space to rest after him (even though he said he would) and so I end up just listening instead of repeating the words. :-(

I know! I do that when I am not doing it live. I am trying to be better. I hope it still works for you

I just didn’t know if I HAD to keep up with repeating the script in order to obtain the benefit. But thank you so much; the vids I’ve watched of yours have been outstanding for getting to the core of the issues....so thank you, thank you!

No it is not essential. In fact, oftentimes people get emotional and can't speak. It's OK. It's about focus of attention not words

@aweinblatt6 Жыл бұрын
You’re not leaving enough time for us to really repeat what your saying, I had no choice but to turn it off after a few sentences unfortunately…
@GPWalsh Жыл бұрын
Yes, in these early ones, I did do that. I slowed down over time. But, interestingly enough, these days I oftentimes tell people not to repeat what I say at all. Just tap and listen. Try that with this. Don't even try to speak and see what happens. It's really about letting the tapping do the work. Let me know what you experience
@empressofawesome70999 ай бұрын
Well, could you not use the settings to change the speed a little bit to slow it down?
@elenaharlow77087 ай бұрын
Wonderful session❤ but you are speaking so so so fast, there’s no way to follow your words properly .
@GPWalsh7 ай бұрын
Yes, this is an older one. I slowed down in later one. But I have since recognized that it isn't really necessary to repeat what I am saying. If you do it and just tap along and let the words come in as they do, it is just as effective.
