People need to ASAP get it out of their mindset that a car they buy for day-to-day-use is an asset (which it is not). a car is like a pair of shoes or a big portable bubble that takes you point-A to point-B as quick as possible as safe as possible. It's not a stock/share or a precious metal. When you buy a car just think as though the next day its only worth $1 so you don't get paranoid & attached to its re-sale value and being bothered about getting the car scratched or damaged
