Thanks for the review. I currently have 4 batteries and the 1/2 Rack for 3 batteries and Have my 4th sitting on top. It has the same design as your older model. I will be buying 2 more batteries and the 6 unit rack so is nice to see the improvements..

I’ve seen the new ones. They seem nice. I also like the smaller grommets on the top. Those massive ones on the older models just made a mess when you poke the wire through. I bet if you added those castors under the older cabinet it would level them out.

I have the 2023 model rack with locking wheels. It's built really nice. The rack was free with the 6 EG4 batteries from Signature Solar.

I have a wierd hybrid of these two racks. Must have been an intermediary model. Still welded, has door, bus bars are different though. Got mine while they were having stock issues so I wonder if they just got what they could to put them out the door.

😅 Cant believe my battery rack did not come with bus bar protection! Eg4 support said some come with it and some dont,,!SOMEWHAT DANGEROUS IF YOU ASK ME!

I just got my second server rack of 6. Any input on the best way to wire them together? I’m new at this. Thanks

Originally I had mine wired independently, but I noticed that my new rack was lagging. Last month I switched to a single run positive top left side stack and Neg Top right side rack. Connected the two racks Busbars at the bottom.

Thanks for the info I agree the first racks were horrible and needed to be heavily modified to mount the batteries. The new racks look promising.

One thing you mite want think of is if the battery catches fire you mite want to have the wheels on it a Anderson connector so you can unplug it and shove it out the door.

My batteries are located in a detached garage, the room has fire rated drywall and rockwool insulation.

On the EG4 Enclosed Battery Rack. Do you see any reason you can't put the rack on its back and load the batteries from the top? I have a height problem.
