One thing I forgot to mention is that Egypt may not be for the amateur solo traveler. I usually don’t get guides but as I was saying in the video definitely consider getting one here. Hope the tips were useful, Egypt is breathtaking 🐫

It seems in Egypt it would be helpful to walk around with your pockets turned inside out so they can see, there is nothing ;)

While I could never visit Egypt myself (I feel strongly about countries that allow such scams to persist) - I will say that the video looks awesome and I'm so glad you had a good time!

I can't believe you road the moped in Egypt. Traffic is insane and in my opinion, this is the craziest driving country in the world. You need the extra Egyptian Crazy license to drive in Egypt. ;) You see those lines on the road? Well Egyptians don't see them, and they just drive inbetween the lanes and were at times inches from the next car. I even saw a car once drive backwards to get off the exit. Yikes. I could literally touch the cars next to us as we drove. You're a brave man Fonsi. And most of my Uber drivers didn't have seat belts or had them hidden and tucked. I guess that is what I get for getting the non luxury option in Uber. Though definitely an experience and quite a thrill ride each time. jajaja. #GoodTimes

Traffic is crazy in Egypt yes 😄 one more thing to consider before coming here 😅 but no matter how challenging if you’re ready it’s so worth it. Such an incredible destination!!!

@@fonsiabroad I couldn't have said it better. In Egypt the more knowledge you have the smoother the trip will be and having an open mind and positive outlook sure made a big difference on the trip. Thanks for providing all your valuable insights. It will definitely make someone else's trip to this is wonderful ancient city as exciting and memorable as possible. There's a reason why it is on most people's bucket list.

If someone were to create a list of the most important buildings in the history of mankind, the Egyptian pyramids would certainly be number one. I have always been fascinated by pyramids, their amazing structure and size. My dream is to go to Egypt and see them.

Same! Once I saw them in real life I was so impressed 🙏

Glad you're having a great trip, Fonsi. My trip was not nearly as positive, and you could not pay me to return to Egypt. The street scammers are nothing compared to the thugs employed by the vast array of corrupt and inept government agencies. It's almost as if they want to discourage tourism. Russia was a breeze compared to Egypt.

@fonsi abroad When you were inside the pyramid, did you feel any kind of cosmic energy? Pyramids are said to have such extraordinary power.

I would not recommend to take off your shirt in Egypt, unless you are at a beach or a pool. It's no longer as in ancient times when even Pharaohs walked around shirtless😜
