Based on my understanding, upwelling process is not directly bring up the phytoplankton level in sea water. In turn the cold water brings up the nutrients like phosphates from the sediments to the sea surface which facilitates sudden phytoplankton blooms on surface waters. Hope it is useful

അതെ പക്ഷേ "Wind blowing from East is Called Easterlies". അത് Polar to Subpolar ആണെങ്കിൽ Polar Easterlies, Subtropical to Equatorial ആണെങ്കിൽ Tropical Easterlies. പക്ഷേ അതിനെ Trade Winds എന്നാണ് normally പറയുക.😌❤
